Lol. You clearly have no notion of it and you just proved it.

I do have a notion of it. Your argument is simply garbage. Your ridiculous claim of moral culpability is the problem. The defensive lineman is not responsible for saying "Penalty on me for hands to the face, ref. You missed it."

I'm bored, so I went through the play-by-play myself:

First half: 11/21, 95 yards, 1 touchdown, 1 interception
Second half: 12/14, 131 yards, 2 touchdowns

Thank you!!!! Good work and much appreciated Danny.

So AFTER the alleged bad ball got tossed out,and AFTER the refs allegedly were now aware of the ball situation......

.......only THEN did Brady improve??????

Let's see if the conspiracy theorists ever address THAT

.

We need to call the NFL and ask for clarification. Then call Bob Kraft and tell him to put this to rest post haste

I'd be willing to watch a very special ESPN episode where any player claiming they can tell .5 of a difference in a football gets tested. I'd put good money down that says they cannot in an actual experiment.

Yes, fascinating that a player who touched the ball once could makethat distinction but the ref who handled it every play never, noticed.

Bottom line. Drunken drug adled Jimmy Irsay was in a drug and alcohol, induced stupor and, angry his Daddy's team was embarrassed again by the Patriots so,he glommed onto the idea that there was foul, play with the balls, even though the idea of tampering with them is beyond idiotic, so he demanded the league investigate and then called Bob Kravitz at 1 in the morning to break the news of the scandal to him, which the turd then did.

And that's fine. Because as we can both agree, the NFL has simply not stated anything at all on NFL.com. You admittedly have no clue if they are going through procedure just because they go through procedure, or if they are going through procedure because they are suspecting us, as the original claim stated.

However, in this case, when you have an allegation that lists you as a suspect, stating procedure, isn't enough to defend it or clear it.

Argue it all you want, but it's going to need to be defended and cleared officially if the Patriots are to be cleared. Whether that means the NFL is going to come out and state the Patriots are not responsible, or whether they say they are simply going through procedure, it's going to have to come from the NFL.

There is no allegation. There is a football or footballs that were removed from play for a yet to be disclosed reason, and as is the case every time they are investigating the balls.
Any reference to the Patriots being considered culpable in any way is fabricated.
That is exactly why this stuff is so stupid, and why a true Patriots fan wouldn't be taking your approach.
This happens often, and the only reference to the Patriots being at fault or even considered to be in any way potentially at fault is coming from the Anti-Patriot people.
You are not even doing a good job of carrying their torch.

NFL Insider talked about it at 3pm. They said in the first Indy game, "some" of the balls Indy thought there was "something' wrong with so they informed the league. So the league was keeping an eye on the balls yesterday.
Now, if I am the league, why would I wait until the AFC Championship game to check this out.

It seems to me that once one of these so called "reporters" writes something. Every other ****head is given permission to start adding to the rumors.

The league needs to say something immediately before this crap goes any further.

How could a tainted ball help Jonas Gray Rush for 200 yards and 4 touch downs? Unbelievable. This entire story is dumb. Teddy Bruschi is right this is sour grapes. The thing that pisses me off is that we fans are ticked off by this, but no one from the team has anything to say. Where is their outrage. That is why these teams think it's ok to throw around accusations. I would be cussing people out. Jerry Jones wouldn't put up with this crap.

You missed it this morning. Tim Hasselback was bragging about how he can tell the difference.
Unfortunately I didn not miss it. It went something like this:

ESPN DIPSHIT: Here's our former official expert on the procedures

EXPERT: Balls are taken from the team, tested and certified, then the NFL controls them so they couldn't really deflate them.

ESPN DIPSHIT: So, you're saying the Patriots actually provide the balls and definitely did this and will lose a draft pick and burn in hell.

EXPERT: No, I'm saying the opposite

HASSELBACK: So basically it's a huge advantage is what your saying

EXPERT: No, I'm not saying that either

ESPN DIPSHIT: There you have it folks, huge scandal, big advantage

That's all from Florio, so take it with a huge grain of salt.

Florio is already on record in one of his Patriots-conspiracy articles saying something to the effect of quote "Normally this is not a big deal and I would not report such a story. But because it's the Patriots I will report it."

That's when I stopped taking him seriously.

Take it for what it's worth but Schefter was saying that when the Colts intercepted the two balls in the game during the regular season they noticed that they were underinflated. Because of this, according to Schefter, they were on the lookout for it this time around and when Brady threw the pick in the first half they noticed the same thing.

If that's true, I don't understand why they wouldn't say something during the first game? Seems fishy to me...

Unfortunately, this kind of cold hard fact will go the way of the Cameragate issue that the Patriots won 18 straight games and broke all kinds of offensive football records AFTER the scandal.

Why wouldn't the referees say something about it? Don't they check the balls before the game?
Yeah the Colts noticed, but the referees didn't. I believe that crap.

Ok..what I can't get my head around.... this is the 6th game this season that Patriots have put up more than 40 points on their opponent...(I recall scoring 42 when we last played the Colts).. nothing new, nothing groundbreaking. We have never needed to alter equipment.
The glaring difference in this game is how little the opponent scored. Shouldn't we be investigating our defense?? How did they keep the almighty Colts from scoring 20 points, like our last meeting? Shouldn't the media be crying foul on the Colts balls? What did our defense do to those balls? Did Revis have a homing pigeon device in his glove so the ball sailed directly to him? Did Ninkovich train the balls to deflect off his hand? Did we put helium in balls so caveman wonder-boy overthrew his receivers? What mysterious substance was secreting out of the very pores of the Colts balls that caused their players to drop them? Indy needs to launch an investigation into their balls..not ours!
Isn't it a tad odd that this isn't more of a talking point? HOW DID LUCK NOT SCORE MORE???If Colts had scored 21, no one would be crying investigate! Patriots did what Patriots do.Score. Why do they all of the sudden need to deflate balls to win? This whole thing is so much nonsense!! Our Defense stopped Colts from scoring. I find it so amusing that no one is giving our defense the credit they richly deserve.
I consider all media to have the collective IQ of a baby chipmunk, so I know they will hand wring& teeth gnash over deflation until they find something new to talk about, but if you step back and take stock of the game, it's just...seriously??? How is this even an issue??

Now I'm going to go re-watch the Pats highlights from last night, and revel in the fact that we are going to the Superbowl!

Ummmm........The first Indy game was indoors in a dome.

Why do they have 12 game balls, not 6, 4, or even 2?

Because, logically, it happens pretty often that balls need to be removed from play.

I do have a notion of it. Your argument is simply garbage. Your ridiculous claim of moral culpability is the problem. The defensive lineman is not responsible for saying "Penalty on me for hands to the face, ref. You missed it."

No you proved you don't. Really man. Now you are changing your argument to "responsible". Of course he's not responsible. But he's morally culpable for committing the foul in the first place, as opposed to playing fair. But again, you keep proving you have no idea what that actually means.

Are you arguing responsibility or moral culpability now? Because if we're still talking about moral culpability, then yes, it should be that way. Of course no one does it and it's ridiculous to expect it. But it's most certainly cheating and you are morally culpable for doing it. And if you are caught, you will be penalized for it.

Actually, that would make sense to me. You notice it in one game and perhaps it makes you suspicious but it's only one game and maybe it was an accident and so better to just shut up about it (but be on the look out). Then if it happens again you have your suspicions confirmed and so you say something.

Why wouldn't the referees say something about it? Don't they check the balls before the game?
Yeah the Colts noticed, but the referees didn't. I believe that crap.

I agree if that's the timeline of events, it doesn't make sense. Unless you are trying to come up with an excuse because you know don't match up well with the Patriots and want a handy excuse in your back pocket. That's all I can really come up with.

Why wouldn't the referees say something about it? Don't they check the balls before the game?
Yeah the Colts noticed, but the referees didn't. I believe that crap.

Bingo. If the Colts players noticed the footballs were underinflated there is almost zero chance the officials wouldn't have seen it themselves.

Anything to ensure the Pats can't just go on the field and try to win a Superbowl without any distractions.
