Let’s talk Jacas. Is it physical, mental, both?

Blaming everyone else rather than working on getting better was a big part of the problem.
He was by far the most entitled player I’ve ever seen on the Pats.

It’s no secret how bad he’s looked in action so far. Constantly whiffing, getting stood up by backups. Not a great showing this August for the guy.

We all know Jacas missed a large portion of camp and is “behind”. Plus there was the matter of his injury condition. But even with that, you’d think the raw talent would’ve fared much better against 3rd stringers.

Are people seeing anything technique wise with him, or does it just look like he’s physically inferior?

I’m pretty surprised at what I’ve seen so far from him. I expected much better as he was coming out.
He looks too thin and light to me.

Pass rush wise that can be a blessing, but as a run stopper holding edge not so much. I noticed this in the Eagles game. One pass play snap he had great pressure on the RT and QB and the very next play was a run directly at him where the RT blew him up like mannequin and the RB ran through the B gap for a sizeable gain.

More experience and better technique may help. BB constantly drilled home about having the right leverage, so perhaps its a matter of just needing more time.

Haven’t even played in a game yet

Why should he get to play a real game, he sucks that's obvious. It reminds me of when they wasted a valuable 6th round pick on Tom Brady. The guy couldn't even keep his job in college, then he did absolutely nothing his rookie season but Belichick still got rid of their #1 overall pick and $100 million man just to save the Kraft's money: They might have won a Super Bowl if they had only stuck with Bledsoe, a proven winner, but noooooooooo, they had to go with the guy who had done absolutely NOTHING, not even in his pre season games. They just never learn, they should have signed Maxx Crosby and that guy from Cincy, Trey Anastasio, but instead they want to draft guys and " develop" them, what a waste. That Maye guy sucks too. In fact everyone sucks, even Ian, he sucks too. You hear that Ian, you suck too, or is it you suck as well? I don't know, you know why, because I suck too, or as well, whatever it is?

Its tough to gauge against the Eagles though. Their average lineman is 8 feet tall and 700 lbs. I will give him a pass on those ones. He does not get a pass for the Browns though.

He’s 22, missed a lot of time with the injury recovery, he’s got Vrabel… he’ll figure it out eventually. No need to panic.

Thank you for your post, Mr. Dunning-Kruger. Your train is never late.
