Incognito suspended indefinitely by Dolphins

Outside of the fact that parties and golf courses have absolutely zero to do with the Dolphin's locker room.....what exactly is that suppose to mean?

All that does is provide something to help you believe what you already want to believe.

Your entire objective in this thread is to prove you are stuck on stupid....willingly.

Smarten up and examine the totality.

Incognito molested a woman on a golf course. This thread is about Incognito. You're defending this guy. He's scum.

You and Andy can go on defending the sexual molester of a woman, but you left this key part out of it:

She has a confidentiality agreement. Can you read? Do have any critical thinking abilities at all? Nice to see you're defending the dregs of society.

...or just maybe it actually dawned on them that assault or molestation would be ....like...criminal?

It's easier when one is not stuck on stupid.

That seems a curious interpretation of "she can’t talk about the incident because she had signed a confidentiality agreement."

Signed agreement, not pending lawsuit. Maybe I'm wrong, but I took that to mean she had been paid to keep quiet -- which could explain why "nothing happened" with the allegations.

Exactly. The poster has the gall to say that I lack reading comprehension, when he leaves out the key fact in the entire story! While his fanboys cheer him on as he sweeps it under the rug. And even worse, he speculated that this could have been consensual?!?! WTF?

That was a really insightful article.

A fascinating point is the job requirement to physically & mentally dominate others. Most people struggle to turn that on and off perfectly.

The NFL is a business, subject to the same civil and workplace rules as the rest of society. However, the job, not unlike some law enforcement and correctional jobs, demands and rewards intimidation.

In a somewhat similar workplace issue, I once worked in a firm selling expertise. We had to get the senior experts to have confidence that they could walk into a company boardroom, full of successful people who had spent their careers in that industry, and convince them that our expert had a greater understanding. The expert needed to be convinced that they were infallably right. Then they would recommend some way of running the business that made no sense to the business managers, but they were still operating on infallability mode. It was hard to switch that on and off.

So the NFL needs to struggle with applying rules that make sense in our culture, to an organization that entertains through its creation of a culture of intimidation.

In the case of Martin, no question he is right that he should not have accept a hostile work environment. In the case of Incognito, he is rewarded for his hostility.

It's easy for those of us who live in the real world to see Incognito as a villian. It's just as easy for those of us who love the game of football to see Martin as someone who failed to see the thrill in living in that world.

I think the NFL will continue to struggle to meet the demands of societal rules and mayhem as entertainment.

You are definitely stuck on stupid, your posts are nonsense.

Somehow you know this despite the fact that there is confidentiality agreement.......

It's an easy game to play.

The women was a gold digger specifically out for a payday. If this were true, it's criminal. Sounds like jail time....or not.

Seriously, why are you stuck on stupid?

You and Andy can go on defending the sexual molester of a woman, but you left this key part out of it:
Please show me where I have defended a molester of women.
Just because you don't like that I recognize that your viewpoints are tainted race, you decide to bring me into this one?

She has a confidentiality agreement. Can you read? Do have any critical thinking abilities at all? Nice to see you're defending the dregs of society.
Which can mean a whole lot of things, not just the one you have decided it must.

That has no effect on a criminal case.

Sure it does. If the victim won't testify, the criminal case goes away. It happens all the time. Rather than go through a trial where you get dragged through the mud and there is no guarantee of a guilty verdict, the victim accepts a payment from the accused, who is looking to keep his reputation intact. It's not a satisfactory system, but it is the system...

You are definitely stuck on stupid, your posts are nonsense.

You're getting irritated because you are being called on the continual nonsense you keep posting. I'm sure you are feeling bullied at this moment.

Too bad you will not quit the thread.

Sorry, the story makes zero sense....despite what you want to believe.

Have you read the confidential...confidentiality agreement?

Great example to how convoluted this stuff becomes.

Signed agreement, not pending lawsuit. Maybe I'm wrong, but I took that to mean she had been paid to keep quiet -- which could explain why "nothing happened" with the allegations.

I missed that in my fast reading of the article. Logically, the police report could have been uncovered through a FOIA request or some third party tip. If this woman in fact signed such an agreement, I suspect she may be in breach of that agreement if she mentioned signing the agreement, because that implies wrongdoing on the part of the person buying her off. Or she could be lying to the media representative because she was told by her lawyer not to talk to anyone, and she didn't know how to get rid of the questioner. I don't claim to know the truth on this specific case, so sorry if it comes across that way.

The timing of issues can be an indicator of a pending civil claim. Knowing as many facts as were offered here, which is precious few, I am not claiming anything regarding what is or is not the case with what transpired a year ago. She could be a victim, or may not be. The point was I am not jumping to grab torches and pitchforks when I read a few sentences of a much larger story.

And as an FYI, without researching the precise Florida law on topic, a Florida attorney states a victim cannot legally decline to press charges and end a criminal case. If she filed a criminal complaint for purposes of police involvement, then the investigation would have to proceed. The presence or absence of such a non-disclosure agreement would not preclude the investigation of the victim's complaint, nor would it prevent the DA from stating the victim recanted her story or asked that charges not be pressed against Icognito in the case. That information would appear to be in the same police report, if that is the basis for this story. I'd be interested in hearing those details, but would suspect they will not be offered.

And yet another guy who thinks molesting women is just fine.

Staying with the same pathetic "crack out the straw man and accuse him of societally horrible things" crap, I see.

Pathetic. You're so weak in your position that you can't argue it worth a damn, and have to resort to this nonsense.

Oh, I molested you. But let's keep it between the two of us. Sign here.
Gladly.

What fantasies you're peddling. This guy is a repeat offender.

Yes, being against sexual molestation is weak position, you're such a tough guy. Oooh.

LOL, I notice you never commented on the Whitlock article that just blew you out of the water. It said the same things I am saying. That Whitlock article is EVERYWHERE in black-culture magazines this morning with people praising it. Love to hear your thoughts.

And, LOL, you'll defend Incognito until your dying day. Go ahead, speculate about the confidentialiy agreement and how it might not mean anything bad about this serial assaulter.

I cant keep up with your 24/7 posting.
I'msure its a wonderful article if it was written by Whitlock.

Does it really say that black people have to treat all other black people the same and it is unconscionable to prefer hanging out with a white guy instead of a black guy?

And, LOL, you'll defend Incognito until your dying day.
I haven't defended him yet.
I have disagreed with the portions of the arguments assailing him that are moronic.
See you can make a comment about Adolph Hitler that is moronic, and m,e telling you that you are wrong does not make me a Nazi.

No, I'll leave that to you since you have already specualted what it means and convicted him in your mind.
Once again, you jump to a conclusion without the facts and accuse thise who disagree with of 'speculating' because they realize your version is not the only one possible.

Read the article. He called out the black players who spoke to Salguero. just like I did. Just like countless black writers in the black news media.

And yeah, jumping to conclusions when the guy molests a woman on the golf course, signs a confidentiality agreement, and the whole case is exactly like all the other criminal problems he's had over his career, including with the bouncer last summer, except this time he has the money to pay to get himself out of trouble, whereas back in his earlier days, he was thrown out of schools for this stuff. And it happened to him repeatedly. He got the heave-ho from the Rams--the Bills wanted nothing to do with him. He was only in Buffalo for 2 games. And here we have a confidentiality agreement with a woman who had to come against this serial freak, and it's still not enough for you.

That's how intelligent people acknowledge when they may have overlooked a fact. I can do it. What's your excuse?

Go order the police report (it's called the Freedom of Information Act - it's a real law, state and federal). Return when you actually have a clue about the actual facts from people who were actually there rather than the picture in your head or what the TV people tell you to believe. Just because it's printed or written doesn't mean it's true. The irony abounds in this thread alone.

Dude, you called me out on not reading the report carefully.

Keep defending this scum.

Slightly off topic from the recent back-and-forth, but it does pertain to Incognito:

I have heard many opinions both locally and nationally that a person being bullied (such as Martin) should respond physically ('punch him in the face').

Why do so many assume that will fix the problem?

Typically the person doing the bullying is physically stronger, far more aggressive, is and is a much more experienced fighter. Even if the person being bullied finds it within himself to become aggressive, the two other factors work against him. Bullies slant the odds in their favor by finding someone, who even if he does fight back, will be at a distinct disadvantage. There is also the implied threat of multiple people versus one; 'my guys have my back, but nobody has yours'.

Yet I keep hearing on the radio and television, and reading in print, that Martin should have simply fought Incognito with the implication that if he did that it would absolutely cure everything.

To me there is just as much (or more) of a chance that Incognito would have beat the crap out of him, emboldening him further. If Incognito did not see Martin as 'one of us' (which is what appears to be the case), then he may not have been interested in 'toughening Martin up', but instead was trying to run him off and out of town.
