Incognito suspended indefinitely by Dolphins

Where it gets worse is what is alleged to be his father's posting history over at Finheaven.com

If that is his dad who is being fed this information (or stories), then we are talking about some serious and concerted stalking.

I am very skeptical that it is the father. If so, it just show the father is a scumbag.

I am very skeptical that it is the father.

Did you read the whole list of indicators that it is him?

Either way I'm not sure why it's so important for you to constantly state you don't believe it was the father. Considering the father doesn't play for any NFL team and isn't the one being ostracized from the league and will face no legal ramifications if it is or isn't him posting like a lunatic on a board I'm not sure why you've felt the need to tell us multiple times that you're in doubt.

Umm, because it was a direct response to my post.
I'm wondering why you feel the need to comment on my skepticism multiple times, which seems even more bizarre.

Andy, it's him:

Is Richie Incognito's Dad Posting On Dolphins Message Board? FinHeaven User 'Idrd1994' Accuses Jonathan Martin Of Drug Use, Suicide Attempts

_______
"By examining idrd1994’s post history, fellow FinHeaven user “TheWalrus” makes a compelling case that Incognito’s staunchest Internet defender is actually his father. According to TheWalrus, idrd1994 "only talks about the offensive line, praises Jeff Darlington (who Richie 'trusted' to write the big feature on Richie) and constantly refers to Jason Smith, the legendary #2 overall draft pick bust of the Rams, who was taken when Incognito was there."

TheWalrus continues, pointing out that idrd1994 had previously posted about growing up in New Jersey and watching the New York Jets while they still played their home games at Shea Stadium. Deadspin notes that Richie Incognito Jr. was born in New Jersey.

In addition, TheWalrus discovered that the user name idrd1994 had also been used on a message board for RC car enthusiasts. Sure enough, the idrd1994 account on the RC car forum identified the poster’s hometown as Glendale, Ariz. The family moved to Glendale when Incognito, Jr., was 11 years old.

The idrd1994 user name pops up elsewhere. Deadspin discovered an identical account on MyLife.com, which identifies that poster as Richie Incognito, a 63-year-old man from Glendale, Ariz......"
______

BTW, given that Mr. Incognito moved to Glendale when his son was 11 - - and he is 30 now - -that means that year was......wait for it......1994.

I accept you are certain, I am not.

Maybe I missed this through the last 40+ pages, but has any more info come out about the two's off-the-field relationship? Incognito and Martin seemed to be pretty buddy-buddy at times from the multiple pictures of them hanging out (being seatmates on the plane, go-karts, out drinking/eating, etc.).

While I think Incognito is a pretty big scumbag and he definitely stepped way over the "rookie hazing" line at points, I still think there is much more to this story that hasn't been disclosed yet. I wouldn't be surprised if it comes out that something happened between the two personally away from the locker room that hasn't really been discussed which is the catalyst to this whole situation. Then it was the continued hazing that pushed Martin over the edge.

and apparently no amount of evidence will convince you otherwise since you have dug your heels in on this issue.
Of course real evidence would convince me. THAT is not real evidence.
If you wish to not be skeptical of research done by "The Walrus" feel free. I choose to not jump to conclusions based upon questionable sources.

By the way in what was is 'skeptical' and 'not certain' digging your heels in?

Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald is reporting that Incognito is "done" as a Dolphin.

Maybe because you yet again state your obstinate skepticism 2 posts after you posted this one?

Thank you, voice of reason.

........however, Deus needs "context" :D

Perhaps after the release of the voicemail transcript, Deus wants to know whether the proscribed defecation into Martin's mouth was with or without preliminary flatulence. And whether the threatened slap in Martin's mother's face was with the left or right hand.

I want more information than a voicemail with no context before I go tarring and feathering someone, while you apparently don't really care about such unimportant things as facts and guilt/innocence, and that's the difference here. While I'm sure you wanted the members of the Duke lacrosse team executed the moment the first possibility of malfeasance was raised, I generally prefer having a bit more knowledge than that prior to cracking out the pitchfork.

You mean my post responding to the one about my skepticism, where I accept he is certain but I am not?

How is skepticism obstinate?
I am skeptical about the source. The source hasn't changed, why would my opinion change?

While I'm sure you wanted the members of the Duke lacrosse team executed the moment the first possibility of malfeasance was raised.

Wow?????

Where do you come off writing that?

And from the guy who throws around false claims of "straw man arguments"?

You're becoming unhinged.

My ignore list is making this thread even funnier.

Wow?????

Where do you come off writing that?

Sauce for the goose...

No, I'm becoming bored with your calling me out on things where you're making really stupid claims and pretending my positions are somehow a bizarre one when they're being backed up by players, former players, etc...

Your digs are sometimes amusing when they're not stupid. They have been mostly stupid for some time now.

So you are firmly in the Hernandez is innocent camp then right?

So you are firmly in the Hernandez is innocent camp then right?

No. When the case was developing, I was in the "wait for the evidence" and the "don't trust everything the media reports" camps. Here, being constent, I'm in those same camps.

How people decide to ignore such things, particularly given the history of the media in cases like this, would make a great study for some shrink.

Classic.....

Indeed.... a classic example of sauce for the goose, and the gander crying about it.

Wow?????

Where do you come off writing that?...
