Week 9 Monday Night Football: Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers

Re: Monday Night Football- Green Bay vs. Chicago

Marc Trestman's system must be really QB friendly after all. Even Josh McCown looks semi decent in it so far.

Re: Monday Night Football- Green Bay vs. Chicago

don't ever call Carter a racist...EVER!!...he'll call you and everyone YOU know or grew up with racists, as well as anybody else you don't know because he's the owner of the high moral ground in our society...and after such a stellar career devoid of any hint of controversy, impropriety and outright bigotry, he knows what he's talking about.

Carter always seems like he's one drop of caffeine away from going completely unhinged. Can't stand that permanently haughty expression on his face. Tom Jackson is just a bitter, washed-up jerk with nothing important to say.

Re: Monday Night Football- Green Bay vs. Chicago

Seneca Wallace is still on an NFL roster? I thought that guy retired like 3 years ago.

Re: Monday Night Football- Green Bay vs. Chicago

I think the Bears' chances of winning just went up a whole lot.

Re: Monday Night Football- Green Bay vs. Chicago

I'm shocked by Lacy's play this year. He was by far the worst RB out of the Alabama RB trio, yet he's the only good NFL RB.

Re: Monday Night Football- Green Bay vs. Chicago

Lacy with some extremely physical running.

Re: Monday Night Football- Green Bay vs. Chicago

You know who I'm sick of? The Tom Jackson-Cris Carter-Keyshawn Johnson-Chris Berman-Mike Ditka panel. Nobody is more useless than Jackson and Carter, especially. It galls me to think those guys are getting good money to share their stupid opinions and biases containing zero insight.

Haven't watched an ESPN football pregame in about 6 years. Not even when the Patriots are on Monday Night. It's complete and utter torture.

Re: Monday Night Football- Green Bay vs. Chicago

Wallace can't even complete a simple slant pattern.

Bears should win this one comfortably now. At least their backup looks competent.

Re: Monday Night Football- Green Bay vs. Chicago

Peppers peppers poor Rodgers....pepperception

Re: Monday Night Football- Green Bay vs. Chicago

Unbelievable

I put a huge bet down on the Packers yesterday and now Rodgers is hurt

And the piece of $h!t Jets ruined my bet on the Saints who I expected to kick their @ss

Re: Monday Night Football- Green Bay vs. Chicago

I really surprised that the Packers don't have a backup QB that knows their system really well yet.

Re: Monday Night Football- Green Bay vs. Chicago

Wow. Special teams turns the tide. Just what GB needed.

Re: Monday Night Football- Green Bay vs. Chicago

Let us all take a moment and thank BB that we have fairly good special teams.

Re: Monday Night Football- Green Bay vs. Chicago

Whoever #47 is on the Bears D needs to be cut ASAP.

What kind of pathetic tackling was that?

Re: Monday Night Football- Green Bay vs. Chicago

So chicago is passing more and green bay is running more...that sounds right..

Cutler's out & Rodgers is out.

McCown actually looks pretty decent in Trestman's system. Even though Cutler is due back soon, if McCown keeps playing like this the Bears won't be bringing Cutler back.

Re: Monday Night Football- Green Bay vs. Chicago

Kudos to BB for taking the backup QB position seriously every year and developing a kid each time for a few seasons. (Cassel, Hoyer, Mallett)

Didn't the Packers learn from that the lazy Sorgi/Painter method will bite you in butt?

Re: Monday Night Football- Green Bay vs. Chicago

Why didn't they challenge that?

Yeah the Colts are really kicking themselves. They'll have had one of the top QBs in the league over a timeframe that will span 3-4 decades.
