NFL Week Two Games

Welker----------->Amendola
Lloyd------------->Thompkins
Woodhead------->Washington

I'm pretty comfortable saying BB replaced these guys with inferior versions....but that cap savings is SO sweet

I'm as pissed about Welker as probably anyone outside the WWW and TFB families, but your matchups aren't really fair. You're evaluating Thompkins way too early in the year, and Vereen is the one who replaced Woodhead as the 'starting' 3rd down back, not Washington.

Our front office just lacks social skills to pick up the phone and call people.

Ever since we got rid of Dimitroff(who is now the stud GM of the ATL falcons), our team has become extremely passive in FA. NE has had several chances the last 3 or 4 years with our zillion high round picks to make nice offers for one of those stud receivers(i.e Fitz especially, who is rotting away in Arizona)

Once again, please give me an example of what you wouldve offered with what contract and why ARI would trade this guy.?

Thats some pathetic redzone offense from the giants. Going to regret it.

Yup, can't settle for FGs against the Broncos.

They're not passive in FA. They've just made too many bad signings/FA choices. Those aren't the same things.

Now things are just getting stupid. The Pats lead the NFL in draft-day trades, but suddenly turn into social pumpkins after pick 255?

P manning cant throw tight spirals like before.

Iam guessing by the zillion picks he means , trade all the picks for the next 2-3 yrs to get Larry Fitz, Andre johnson and Calvin johnson.

I don't see how our FO is that bad. We kinda got screwed this off season. Hernandez was a two face and that screwed us over. Steelers took sanders back. We were kinda stuck. Hindsight is 20/20. But going into TC, Hernandez, amendola, vereen, gronk, Edelman and 2 rookies wr's was a promising start. Especially with the running game. And look what a unlucky infection, Hernandez case and 2 injuries and we are where we are now. It's doesn't take much to make a impact. Just be glad it happened early on.

Never really was his strength, was it? More noticeable now though.

Look...I don't kniow what it is...but it's gotta be something!!...has to be...this team saucks...every year they sauck...I can't quite put my finger on it but anyone can see they sauck...when will we finally get a solid owner and coaching staff...this team saucks!

Drew brees picked off. I dont know if i want to face TB after a win or a loss.

I think this calls for the rare quadruple facepalm.

Yes, what you quoted my be in the top 5 dumbest things I have seen posted here.

I think bedard said that in his column. He cant throw beyond 30 yards now. Anyone who defends him beyond that is giving too much stock to his arm.

It might not make much difference either way, but having 2013, regular season game tape of a good game might help plan for the things the Bucs can do well.

Book it. After the Denver/New Jersey game today, there will be countless columns predicting that the SB will be the rematch. Take it to the bank.
