The bigger question is:

Why is this thread about Tebow still going?

At best he is a #3 QB and at worst he is cut. Or is the other way around. Why spend your time arguing?

Because THIS THREAD MUST NEVER DIE!!!!!!

It is the funniest, most entertaining thread evah. Stop missing the point and embrace the horror!

And you too Brock Samson avi guy, of course there's nothing new here! Just roll with it. If you want to display your brilliant football IQ, I mean, go ahead and try, but you can't do it here! It's just about 100% content-free and the longest thread evah... that's the fun of it.

I know the Adam Seward thread. I posted in the Adam Seward thread. And this sir is no Adam Seward thread.

BTW, I stopped reading this thread weeks ago. So if it mutated into a farce, good for the thread.

It's a given in any Tebow discussion that the following statements (true or false) are the ultimate difference-makers in any decision to sign him or keep him:

Statement 1
Tebow is currently re-learning everything about how to pass the ball, including mechanics, timing, when and where to go with the ball, and even confidence; there is a good chance with an entire year to work on it the right way that he can develop into a good conventional quarterback. His considerable running talents and intangibles make that at least arguably worthwhile.

Statement 2
Tebow is terrible, and the struggles we see are the real Tebow, the best he can do. He is not worth investing time into as a player.

All the rest is crap.
Where everybody is coming from is determined by where they fall on either Statement 1 or Statement 2. The rest is red herring. Nobody thinks he should make the team because he's a nice guy. Nobody thinks keeping a 6th safety is more important than a quarterback. It's just people talking past each other. May as well just holler "Statement 1" and "Statement 2" at each other.

Bull**** and only you Tebowites believe this. If the guy needs to learn how to throw, he needs to get off this team and pay someone to teach him.

Unlike you Tebowites, it's us who have been paying the tickets for this team for years. I and others are completely against paying a guy who can't help this team because he's got to learn how to play.

Ultimately, this is BB's decision but you guys can stick it up your ass coming to this board and trying to tell us what it is.

I paid over 100k to learn my profession. Why should this clown get paid millions (including Denver) to learn? You guys are the worst kind of douchebags there are. It isn't even Tebow. It's Tebowites who come here and try and tell us how great this bust is and how we should pay him to learn how to do something he should have learned years ago.

For all the others that thought this was a great post.....figures.

You are not doing it right !

Yell STATEMENT 2 !.....geez

Dude, this thread is so far past farce it takes the light from farce a year to hit it. This makes the binge-eating-fat-guy-explosion from Monty Python look like a tempered and sober discourse on human nature. Paula Deen thinks this thread is vapid. This thread eats the Adam Seward thread for breakfast and craps out the "I still think Chad Jackson's worth working on" threads.

Hey whattayaknow, another Gator... :)

Dude, I have no hate. I'm laughing at you guys...now reread realizing I'm laughing at what blind lemmings you are. It's sad to see that Jonestown can still take place after listening to some of you Tebowites.

The funny thing is the joke is on you . Tebowites (please include me ) generally think he has stunk it up something awful this year and will more likely be cut soon.

The only real delusion is from the Tebow detractors still arguing and charging against imaginary windmills.

Nope. The joke is that you guys think he is ready for the NFL "given the right situation" lol

You're Jonestown followers drinking the kook-aid and living for your false profit. Like the guy but don't make him out to be something he's not...an NFL player.

Your argument is soooo 2010, c'mon man pick it up !

Do you have no heart at all? Black Hearted Woman - Allman Bros.

Short of egregious historical atrocities, sending Tim back to the Jets would be one of the most black hearted acts against humanity on record.
Tebow has turned in the most ridiculous, egregiously bad qb performance of all time. He's had years to "learn how to throw the ball". He can't do it and now some posters have the preposterous opinion that he can not only do that but learn "other positions" as well.

He should be tarred and feathered and ridden out of town with his merry band of deluded cult members behind him.

When Bb finally cuts him his first words at the press conference should be "our long national nightmare is over.". And with that tebow will be gone forever from football, living only in our memories as the most ridiculous 'qb' of all time. We'll tell stories to our grandkids about the absurdity of tebow and his followers as we'll finally be able to laugh about it.

Bill needs to do the right thing and cut him. He'd been taking up a spot for an extra OL, DL or CB.

If Tebow wasn't Tebow maybe Bill would find an injury that happened to him in the last preseason and IR him.

But there's no way Tebow being the person he is would be apart of that.

Compare the two images. That's how tebow should try and throw the ball.

At 30 frames per second, and (say) 30 minutes - 1800 seconds -- of possession per game, you've got 54,000 offensive frames to examine per game. Let's say you have 30,000 frames of passing plays per game. It would seem very likely that over more than a decade of NFL seasons (and post-seasons, usually deep runs into the post-season,) you'd get a whole passel of bad throwing motion clips on the part of Brady.

Somehow, you've also captured one of Tebow with what appears to be a very nice looking pass about to happen.

But we both know what happens when these respective QBs pass the ball. We also know that "compare the two images" is an exercise in cherry picking that doesn't just border on the ridiculous, it treats that border like the Russians and Germans have historically treated their respective frontiers with Poland.

So far so good until that howler, Afam. You can't actually believe that the real problem for the Pats' QBs is that Brady's throwing motion needs work?

By the way, I should add that one of the few defenses of Tebow's continued presence on the roster is that they think they can fix his mechanics and timing. If you're saying they're darned good already, holy crap would that be bad. He doesn't even get the "upside potential once he's fixed" excuse anymore.

Done. Compare the images now. Tebow. mechanics needs alot if work.

I don't know whether to ignore you or to try that make you comprehend what I was trying to say. Next time you throw insults at some, make sure you are directing it to the right person. I was saying that tebow mechanics needs to get better and not Brady's.
