Maybe the best part of it is that Amendola is an after thought. He should (and would be best suited) as the #3 WR for us. Keeps him fresh and opens the middle of the field for Gronk, Ridley and Vereen.

I don't think that Amendola is an afterthought. I just think that it's more important to develop good chemistry with some of the other players right now.

We know what Amendola provides and his hand signals w/Brady are a great sign that they're seeing the same things. I'd guess that we'll be seeing more of him in the next couple of games.

I keep reminding myself, not that it's preseason, but it's the Eagles.

Still, he obviously has some chemistry with Thompkins and Dobson already, and our OL is killing it in the running game. Ridley losing his second gear is a bit disappointing, but Vereen is going to be a big time weapon. Lots of potential.

It maybe the Eagles but every year you want to make sure Brady hasn't proverbially 'lost a step'. That's what i look for with Tom and sure enough he looks better than last year in pre season already.

Sometimes I think you're right. Other times not so much.

The depth and lack of any proven players behind him is a problem. If either T.Wilson or Harmon could step up you may be right.

Both receivers dropped passes from Mallet.. looks like there is quite a difference between how Brady and Mallet throws, whether it be the timing or the power behind the throw.
