Couldn't have asked for a better 1st showing, brady hit Amendola, Dobson, Thomkins and then vereen for a TD. It looked flawless...

This might work out perfectly, Amendola is the safety blanket, no need to worry if he can be trusted because he can and he's a better version of Welker if healthy. Let the young guns get the reps until Gronk comes back to create the ultimate offense with Ridley getting better and better.

I keep reminding myself, not that it's preseason, but it's the Eagles.

Still, he obviously has some chemistry with Thompkins and Dobson already, and our OL is killing it in the running game. Ridley losing his second gear is a bit disappointing, but Vereen is going to be a big time weapon. Lots of potential.

Maybe the best part of it is that Amendola is an after thought. He should (and would be best suited) as the #3 WR for us. Keeps him fresh and opens the middle of the field for Gronk, Ridley and Vereen.
