If you are going to evangelize, at least have the guts to do it without hiding behind the "LOL." It turns it into a drive-by.

That was might attempt to make my post a little lighthearted, but I meant every word regardless of the ending. Lets start this over. I hope he gets counseling and turns his life around. Also the day he gives his heart to Jesus is the day that will impact his life in the most powerful way. With that being said best of luck to Dennard.

Judging the heart of others is a dangerous and un-Christian activity.

Are you presuming that because of a couple of incidents with alcohol that Dennard has not given his heart to Jesus? I know lots of Christians who have trouble with alcohol.

If you want to discuss the issue about alcohol and Christians, and judging the hearts of others than PM me and we'll talk. Lets keep this thread about Dennard and his current issues. We don't want to stear this thread off course.

WTF?

Can you just take this crap to another forum please? People who choose screen names like yours do so for a reason, and it is not to ignore religion and focus on football.

Who are you to tell me what username I should or shouldn't have. Who are you to say what I should or shouldn't talk about. Keep it moving and focus on the different thread topics rather than what other posters Choose as their screen names.

^^ bingo!! You have un-masked the egregious anti-Christian bigotry that has infested this board.

Qb12 you are right on the money

You got balls. Do us a favor - stay on topic. How the **** you can classify people around here without knowing one single thing about Dennard is beyond reproach. There are plenty of "christians" that have social problems including alcoholism and there is a thing called relapse and recidivism that persons of all faiths deal with.

Your slanted view toward your faith is not welcome. Take it to christianmingle.com.

Get lost. You know nothing other than your slanted view.

How many threads will be derailed by Tebow fanatics this year? I have the over under at 40.

this moron is a fake Tebow fan...

So far we are at 4 threads. I will take the under because Tebow will be gone by the beginning of the regular season.

The Tebow supporters are the personification of well-intended and harmless. It is the Tebow haters that ruin all these threads with their mutual self-congratulatory back-slapping and childish insults. These threads are like a playground where the dumb big kids congregate to bully the smarter kinder kids.

How anyone finds the below offensive is completely beyond me.:

I see, so manx and christiancat know that Dennard has not "given his heart" to Jesus?

Presumptuous much? You and the other apologists should take your faith-based talk off-topic and to ChristianMingle.com

I thought that there is an unwritten rule about faith and politics on this board?

Apparently not.

Wow. You pick out one phrase. How about:

I hope he gets counseling and turns his life around

With that being said best of luck to Dennard

And your problems with these are...?

And FWIW, I'm not a person of faith - it's just that I'm not a bigot when it comes to them.

Bigot - you might want to look up that word in the dictionary and why a discussion has even been brought up regarding Dennard's faith-based values.

Dennard's faith-based values have not been discussed in the media but some Tebow-ite jackass comes over here and makes a comment as if he knows Dennard's faith-based values. It is off-topic, it is irrelevant, and if you want to talk about something off-topic and irrelevant then take it to ChristianMingle.com. They will welcome you with open arms.

Oh and by the way - here is the definition of big·ot - a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices. That sounds like christiancat since he thinks that his faith-based views should be shared by all and is the reason why 99% of all of his posts are about his views and nothing more.

Re: Re: Dennard arrested for DUI

So far we are at 4 threads. I will take the under because Tebow will be gone by the beginning of the regular season.

Id take that bet.

Im no Tebow fan, but I suspect Belichick is willing to invest the third-string qb roster spot with the idea of seeing if Tebow's throwing skills can be developed. If they can then we've gained a future pick.

Im guessing Tebows work ethic and potential/hypothetical trade-value keeps him on the roster.

Belichick is overly criticised as being desperate when he takes a chance on a low/questionable character like Hernandez or Dennard yet receives only more criticism for the incredible ego in thinking he can do something with a high character player like Tebow too.

I dont mind a coach that thinks he can turn a player around. In fact isnt that the essence of what a good coach does?

Risking nothing but a roster spot or a 4th or 7th round pick is not exactly high stakes gambling. I dont mind my coach taking risks with these low picks.

Its the disgruntled and troubled players that can break a locker-room that are the big risks imo... I havent felt that any of his "risky" pickups have even come close to doing that.

Hernandez has come closest but he didnt do it from the inside and 31 other teams would have been slathering to take on Hernandez and his character concerns 3 months ago had we but put him up for trade for what we drafted him for.

It all depends on how many game threads people like christiancat interrupt during the course of the season. My money is on Tebow not getting a roster spot because that roster spot can be better utilized on a guy on defense because Tebow won't have another role on this team other than one holding a clipboard and running some scout teams.
