Easily could shave weeks off. I broke my wrist as a teenager and 4-6 week prognosis healed in 2 weeks.
Good comedy. Thanks for that.

Unless you provide an example, I'm going to assume that no player has gotten hurt on a PAT attempt in recent history. Given that, why not use Gronkowski on a play where there has historically been no chance of injury? You're the idiot. I know when he was injured. I saw the replay.
And that somehow changes this discussion???
Why was an injured all year Gronk on the field for ANY reason with 3 mins left in a blowout?? Why was bad ankle Welker back to receive a punt in the 4th qtr?? Was was Brady in at all. Why was I seeing Vince bouncing around when the Patriots had 40 + on the board??? This has been an issue many folks have had with Belichick for years. He exposes his key players to injury by leaving them in games far too long. Was only a matter of time before it bit him in the arse. He owns it.

heh...some guy is on the post game show going ballistic about Gronk being in the game...Fred and Steve are torturing him...DeOssie calls him Roberta...and both former NFL PLAYERS are calmly explaining why this question is sub mongoloidal
Rapsheet.....
I heard that the Pats euthanized Gronk as of 10:00pm tonight. They had to put him down, but they saved his collar and his bowl. :nooo:
Good comedy? Ok...
I guess what I learned while studying for Orthopedic Sports Medicine before changing to Cellular Biology was wrong... Guess I better go inform my professors.
Anyone who can't handle having players from their favorite team injured should find another sport to follow.
Question, "in which of the major team sports are fans most likely to ask about injuries as soon as the game is over?"

There are times when it's a legitimate question to ask why a player is in the game. A PAT isn't really one of them, IMO.

BB plays his starters on special teams.
Tom Brady does not come out of blowouts.
Nothing new here.
We were actually having this debate earlier in a different thread for a different reason, but the answer is the same. It's because special teams are a third of the game.If there's a legitimate question to be asked here, it's why Gronk is on the PAT unit in the first place, but even then I don't think it's crazily irresponsible like some people probably will. Belichick puts the best players out there, and that's all there is to it. If injury risk is increased as a result, then so be it. He doesn't coach from a position of fear, and the positives of that outweight the negatives by a pretty wide margin.
