Desperate times in KC...

This may be fortuitous. Maybe we can grab Romeo back as our defensive coordinator to replace the guy that isn't doing the job now.

I would love for this to happen. I think it would really help our O and D as BB could work more in the middle. It would also give us a very experienced coach rather than always promoting from within.

You never know... it could end up helping our pass D some.

i hope Romeo comes back and he brings Rodney Harrison, Mike Vrabel, Willie McGinest, Asante Samuel, Richard Seymour, Ty Law and Tedy Bruschi with him lol ok all jokes aside i like Romeo but the guy was working with 7 borderline HOF players i dont think he would make this defense that much better

Whoa on the 7 HOF talk. Law is the lone sure thing in my book. Vrabel and Bruschi...no way. McGinest, Harrison and Seymour...Maybe. Samuel? I am going to recuse myself on that topic, I am no fan of Samuel, and it clouds my judgement.

He catches this ball...The Pats are immortalized as GOAT. I'm all set with him.

He said borderline and it was a bit of hyperbole to make a point. RAC had a very talented veteran team pretty much in their primes to work with here for 4 seasons. No coordinator since has had anything approaching that to work with. Pees had some of those guys some of the time battling age and injury. Patricia's watch has been devoid of that level of talent although it may be on the cusp of regaining it. At least in the front 7. Secondary not remotely close.

Outside of his 4 years here Crennel has not been successful by any means.

What do you think about McDaniels who came back to New England, who lost his last 20 straight games in Denver, then ran the worst offense in the NFL in St. Louis?

Be consistent.

Completely disagree. Should we go back and look at that 2001 roster on defense? Bunch of free agent castoffs and street agents. In 2003 and 2004 they had historically-high injuries all over the defense and it kept going.

The defenses after Romeo left have had PLENTY of talent. It's the coaching and scheme that has been terrible. Who is the last defensive player in the last 5 years who developed and got better, especially in the secondary? The coaching staff needs to be fixed. The only good assistant we have is Peppers, who has done a good job with developing the front7.
