Thursday Night Football: Browns at Ravens

Nessler forgot to mention "cleveland hero" in his little mini Dawson bio there.

We have had a few threads about drafting and such...Ya' really do have to wonder if on defense we would be better off drafting thugs....monsters like the guys the Ravens have. Sure they have had the ultimate linebacker, Lewis forever. But ya gotta' believe they have all these other monsters cause they draft monsters on defense. They have been a pretty successful team as well. Hard to just say that they always have low draft picks.

Seems to me, they must seek out these Frankensteins. Suggs is not even playing.

The Browns are doing a good job picking up the pressure.

Replacements would have called something ticky tac to stop that drive

Random thought: Even with the replacement officials, the Patriots are probably 3-0 if Light is still on the team.

Oher finally got caught.

I have not checked the complete three week record for the entire league so this might be one of those open mouth, insert foot comments. However I think it really helped to have home games during the replacements mess. The worst aspect of their performance seemed to me to be how easily and how much they could be intimated by the home crowd.

Flacco still throwing bombs thinking Devin is defending out there

across the board the Ravens are slowing teir game speed...they are tired...bad break for them that they get a Thursday Night game following the Sunday Night brawl with the Pats...I think the Browns can run it down their throats if the game is close in the 4th

Nice punt you donkey.

Don't see how he would've helped with the overload blitzes on the right side that stalled the last drive or the disaster in our secondary against Baltimore.

It's amazing what happens when the OL isn't allowed to hold.

esiason bashing the refs for not reviewing that last play before the browns punted

He keeps Solder on the right while Vollmer recovers from his back injury. More cohesion is there.

That is not the case. We can make all the excuses we want, but when was the last time our defense played well against a good QB?
We have very good players, there is something off about the coaching. BB's philosophy might need some adjusting going forward with all the rule changes and pass happy league.
He has not adjusted well and should bring in a fresh mind into his nest to infuse new ideas.

I stand by my comment. I also acknowledge your defensive philosophy comment.

The AFCCG against Flacco, for starters.
