Gruden is steaming ..hahaha

Remember his temper on the sidelines when he coached? Imagine him after that call, that wouldn't have been pretty.

It's the definition of a simaltaneous catch. They both have possession, even though Jennings has it in his chest that doesn't matter they both come down with control of the ball so it is awarded to the offense. Easy call.. The medi heads are just looking for blood.

A regular ref 27 years in the business said he would have called it an INT ...and you think you are right?

Please any additional offerings that the ball belonged to the offensive player is an insult to our intelligence. That was an INT....period...end of story.

Unfortunately, Goodall is such an arrogant ass that I don't think even this will in his mind force his hand. With any luck at all, the owners (likely led again by our Mr. Kraft) will tell Goodall that enough is enough...settle this thing.....NOW!

I don't think you understand what possession is. Jennings caught the ball FIRST and brought it to his chest.

As long as these refs are out there, the team leading into the 4th quarter better have a 30 point lead because it's apparent no lead is safe...especially if you are an away team.

Has it been proven that the rentarefs have been letting the home teams win based upon bad calls???

seems logical......they are getting paid off...

Tate had control of nothing, not sure what your going on about. Are you a seattle fan? Geezus

twitter is exploding about this game...hopefully the real refs will have their jobs back for week 4

I believe I just decided that I'm not going to watch any more NFL games that don't involve the Patriots until the lockout is ended.

And if there's another game like last night or tonight involving the Patriots, I'll take those games off, too.

This just isn't football worth watching.

I think I posted an almost exact duplicate of your post...after the third preseason game...the whole point is, you just settle a potentially devastating work stoppage and barely get the full season back on schedule...and you get into THIS unbelievably idiotic pi$$ing contest over piddling dollars???

Ridiculous...if Goodell wore a supermoron costume he'd be the Ridiculouster...

Well, the Ravens got a win from them last night, and now the Packers got the same treat.

New England got hosed at home by the refs against Arizona.

If this doesn't get the negos going with the refs, nothing will.

Why would it? Owners are still making money and the ratings are as strong as ever.

The players need to strike if they want these refs gone

How on earth did Tate have possession?? Jennings had the ball to his chest, Tate just put his hands around the ball. In no way did Tate have possession.

Tate didn't have possession. Jennings had possession. It's clear on the video. You must be using a television from about 1960.

He's probably imagining it from the radio.

Anybody who says Tate caught the ball just doesn't know football....just like the fake refs

Imagine betting a huge amount of money on the game and taking GB and laying the 3 1/2 points tonight that GB was favored by only to get screwed.

.....when it comes to money things can get dangerous for these Refs...off the field.

Guys losing truckloads of cash get angry, especially with dumb calls.

Wow, more reffing shenanigans. What a shock.

I didn't watch. All I needed to do was read this thread. What an embarrassment for the NFL.

I want the real refs back, and Goodell out of a job. Nothing less will do right now.

Claiming the rent-a-refs are getting paid off is a stretch. I do think we are seeing the home crowd noise factor, and what happens when it is being applied to guys that are completely out of their element to begin with.

The real refs should ask for more.As of right now they are in the driving seat.

The rest of the fans in the NFL tonight....

every restaurant, hotel, bar, motel, crack house and whorehouse in Green Bay just posted this sign...

Stop blaming Goodell. Sure, he is implicit and derelict in his duty to select and train better replacement officials, however the regular officials have some pretty outrageous demands.

Both sides are as bad as one another.
