Can't blame the Colts for not wanting to overpay for him after 4 neck surgeries. They weren't going anywhere with him, so why not clean house and save money?

Then they shouldn't overpay him to begin with? i understand thier decision and they seem to have a very legitimite QB for the forseeable future. Though they could have kept Manning and got some defensive help too.

I don't recall if they tried to have Peyton restructure his contract to give them an out. Probably did and he wouldn't bite, so that helped make the decision.

Fox hasn't learned the important lesson, trust Manning when he runs a quick play to catch a 12th defender.

Its going to take some time for manning to adjust. he doesnt look the same so far especially without the no huddle quick pin point throws.

Yeah, his throws look very average right now...

I HATE when teams get rewarded a late TO instead of getting called for delay of game. That's an infraction and you should be penalized

The Denver (and Pittsburg) D reaaly brings on the hits. Denver would fit right in with the AFC North.

Manning still looks like Manning. This years Donkeys will be a hell of a lot harder to beat then last years. I'd rather face Ben this year.

The replacement officials have been there, there and everywhere with their penalty calling this week.
