This has an opening post with good commentary and information, which we definitely recommend reading.

The more I see and watch this team, it seems less about winning football games and more of an effort to make the back page(or front page) of the NY Daily News..

Like a Broadway musical.. lots of glitter, no real substance, but when you walk away you smile..

Any publicity is good publicity..

"but when you walk away you smile.."

i throw up.....

and yes they still suck

I imagine right now Tanny is sitting down with his most recent Mel Kiper draft publications, and looking over the list of cuts, trying to see which players would be good claims in the "Rats' 2nd Draft".

To be fair their D can be the top one this yr in AFC. Very good secondary and good pass rush , they will he hard to score on.

They were 20th in scoring defense last year. Where is the improvement?

Points off their offense's turnovers. Ryan's going to ban Sanchize and Tebow from passing the ball.

There's almost one way the jets are better. They've never had to experieince the agony and suffering that comes with losing a Superbowl.

Then again, if you are 43 (42 at worst) you wouldn't have been alive the last time they went to one.

After reading the 2012 version of "THE JETS SUCK" and reading the JI board
I've come to the conclusion that they really do suck. For the most part their
posters are delusional or totally brain dead (pick one, they are the same.)
And in closing the Jets really are trying, at times very. JMO

PS: jets SUCK

The reason why the Pats dumped him was for salary cap purposes, the cap doesn't go up next year, so teams are making moves to prepare for it, the Pats just dumped 100 million to the TE position, which is dumb in itself, but they need to shift the cap allocation of their roster, as will most teams.

Why would the Jets take on a Hoyer for more money than they are giving McElroy who is capable of providing the same value?

Fans need to understand we can't just put the best talent at level of the roster, cap decisions need to be factored.

Yeah, RayRay, that's exactly what happened. The sad part is, when he gushes about the finer techniques of the Jets' 10th string punter, he demonstrates that he actually understands football on some level, but then says crap like this and expects people to take him seriously.

There was no need for this. The only way this makes sense is if we end up bringing in a guy like Mario Williams. If no Peyton, then the Jets should've rode out this season with Sanchez on his current deal and if he showed significant improvement, THEN sign him to an extension next offseason.

If he takes us to the AFCCG twice in the next three years, while you're crying about his contract, then I LOVE being "STUCK"

He got the same money as Kevin Kolb and Ryan Fitspatrick, and that money isn't even guaranteed

There WAS A need for the move, on several levels, you are just too naive, or too caught up in your mindless and baseless agenda to see it.

- Frees up a huge amount of cap space
- Converts money into guaranteed money that already existed on his existing deal
- New money isn't guaranteed, Jets have an out after the next 2 years if need be
- Despite the media SPUN off-season, it sends a huge statement to Sanchez himself, and the so-called "unnamed sources," or any other doubter that they are committed to Sanchez and the body of work the last 3 years provides PLENTY of just reasoning. This is big because the locker room doesn't have to wonder about the QB of the team, they don't have to wonder if he's a lame duck or not, they can either strap it on and get on board, or be gone.

It was a HUGE move, the right move, a savvy move, a fiscally positive move, a GREAT move!!!!

I mean, after reading that, you want to go out and just grab a Pats fan by the neck and shake him violently while repeating the words..a HUGE move!...the right move!!..a savvy move!!..a fiscally positive move...a GREAT MOVE!!!...sorry, now I gotta go take a dump...

Pats can't stop cheating

Demps is not seriously hurt, he said himself he was fine last night.

Belichick and the damn cheating are basically stashing this player on IR because he's not ready to contribute, and he's bending the rules to do it, again.

When is the damn league going to put a stop to these damn egotistical pricks?

There should be a rule that includes an independent medical screening for all players that go on IR.

They're egotistical!!!!...yeah..it's terrible they are like that huh?

Fun read from SAR I:

I believe the News felt she simply wasn't needed this season. Here, I'll write the template for any reporter covering the Jets this year:

Jets Lose XX-X, As The Defense Can't Pitch Shutout
Ryan says "Excuse goes here"

City Name Here: Different game, same result. The Jets flew into City Name Here with a XX game losing streak because of it's Negative Adjective Here offense and it leaves town with a loss for the very same reason.

While the Jets own the #X defense in the entire NFL, their offense can't move the ball, can't get first downs, and can't score. Mark Sanchez put up numbers that were decent on the stat sheet X-X-X-X-X but useless on the field as his only target, Name Of WR Here, was covered all day and his dump offs to Name of RB Here got him a high completion percentage and a few yards but not much more. "Unemotional sentence about preparation and film study goes here" Sanchez said, "Backpeddling correct statement about guys getting open goes here."

"Politically correct statement about playing as a team as he really hates the f-cking offense goes here" said defensive game captain Darrelle Revis, "Inuendo-laden double-talk about being one team and both sides of the ball taking responsibility goes here".

When Rex Ryan was asked when the offense would break out of it's funk, he said "Outright lies and nonsense about getting more involved in the offense goes here" and when asked if the offense would change things up next week when the Jets play the Name Of Eventual Winner Here he replied "Vague statement about teamwork and emotional praise for the defense goes here".

He really gets under the skin of the Jets Homers, so he deserves some recognition.
