I predicting the big Wildcat surprise is that Sparano is going to bring the wishbone to the NFL. Sparano is innovative like that. He is the king of bringing outdated college formations to the NFL.

Maybe he will throw in a couple of Statue of Liberty plays. With Sanchez's and Tebow's slow releases, they can really sell the pass on a play like that.

I can see it now: Sanchez sucks the linebackers in with a fake Statue of Liberty and hits Sanfonio with a 3-yard slant on third-and-12.

Better than Tebow, he hits the linebackers on a 3 yard slant. The linebacker on the other side of the field.

HAHA this is to funny!

The owners 'Jested" the league*

Urban dictionary....Jested...term for ineptness, futility, or just plain ****ing everything up beyond belief

Dont think even mighty FDR could save what Roger Jetdell has done to the league.

Funny though how even though the jets have done better in the past few years, they still are losers.

Or perhaps in once upon a time the Jet fans didn't start with the minimum number of people to colonize and create a heterogenous gene pool (or maybe they did, but ended up eating a few and hence destroyed the balance)?

and this is all said in the name of fun. 'm sure there are well bred and intelligent Jets fans out there. They just don't admit ti in public.

Bad news for us, according to Bart Scott the Jets may have the best defense in Jets' history:

AllHipHop.com: Last question. What can New York Jets fans expect from Bart Scott, his defense, and the team as a whole this year?

Bart Scott: Our fans should be excited. We’ve put some pretty interesting defenses on the field. But we have the most potential this year. If we do our jobs and communicate more, we could be the best Jets defense in franchise history. Which is scary because my first year here we were #1, by 30 yards, in almost every statistical category that was meaningful… They should be very excited by their team.

We’re going through a transformational period. We’re younger, more athletic. Our veterans our more mature. Our defense has come together. Our offense is taking a lot of flack for not scoring Touchdowns in the preseason though. With that being said, watching our offense and playing against our offense, I know there are a lot of strategies they’ve yet to pull out. Everything has been kept on the hush. Even with our opener against Buffalo, they don’t have any idea of anything we’re doing because we haven’t shown anyone yet. We can’t wait!

"Our veterans are more mature...." Ah, ok, the veterans got older or are not as childish?

Considering the last image of Scott last season was him giving the reporters in the lockerroom the finger as he left for the offseason, what does he consider more mature?

He could, but it would take him almost a decade and would cost billions of dollars.

You are trivializing it. This isn't so simple as just bringing a major national economy back to life.

I find myself horribly conflicted as the Jets approach their last preseason game. I can't figure out which is the more appropriate fate:

  1. Have McElroy successfully lead a TD drive, indicating that the best QB on the roster may not see any playing time at all during the regular season.
  2. Have the Jets fail to score a TD at all, and suffer the ignominious fate of being the worst preseason offense of all time.

Both of these seem worthy, but which is more so? I can't decide—and clearly both can't happen in our universe at the same time. (Or can they? Is the Jets' suck really that powerful?)
