Patriots practice yet to start, but a positive sign -- OL Logan Mankins in uniform on field. A sign he is coming off PUP
Great news!
Good to hear. Wonder how far away Vollmer is. I think it was Bedard who tweeted last week that Sea Bass was walking like a guy who still had a ways to go.

Crap. I love Mankins doom.OL Logan Mankins in uniform on field.
Can we keep the Waters doom a little while longer?
The more the Patriots lock Dan Connolly into the right guard spot, as has been the case over the last week or so, the more it makes me wonder if they have doubts that veteran Brian Waters is coming back.
Wow! This is about a month earlier than I expected him back. That helps. Lets see how he's doing in a week or so. He can't hit until Tuesday.
It will be interesting to see what they do with Donald Thomas. Does he stat as the back up LG or does he now move to the right side.
I'm still not worried a bout Waters....yet. I expect him back to camp after the Monday night game. He gets a few plays in the 3rd game and a few more in the last game, and he's about 2 weeks ahead of where he was when he was signed just 5 days before the Miami game.
Its a long time to go before we start to see how things pan out. But this is GOOD news.
Great to have Mankins back so soon! Even without Waters, a lineup like Solder-Mankins-Connolly-Thomas looks pretty strong. It's that 5th spot that's the problem.
Get well soon, SeaBass!
