Did I just hear "The players don't really like [BB]" AGAIN?

Find one flaw...I dare you!!!!!!!!!

Ability to walk upright?

Yea, i just saw and heard that too. Like this guy knows what hes talking about. I bet the players would LAUGH at that!
What the hell does he know? LA doesn't even have an NFL team.

Somebody tell Tom Jackson........he will be vindicated!!!

ESPN is good for scores. Any journalism is equal to that of the view or springer.

Somehow I think that BB is not sitting around offended by this but sitting around saying another thing is going according to plan, as the focus before a big game is on him, not the players.
Let them focus on preparation, and let the media have their fun with him, and please, please, keep up the discussion about his schemes, his genius, him being an @ss, the game being about him in Mannings head or Manning in his, etc, etc.
Let the players prepare and let the conversation focus on the guy who isn't listening anyway.

Around the Horn is the least informative sports show on TV. Look at the guys usually on there. Dumb, dumber and dumbest. I haven't wathced it in a few years but I doubt it's gotten any better,

It hasn't. I'm just watching these shows to soak up the playoff atmosphere.

This is sort of offtopic but Jacky McMullen replied to an email I sent and told me that Belichick was "a flawed man" after I told her she was wrong about BB not shaking Mangini's hand. Why must this world try to make Bill look like satan?

I have always liked McMullen but that is a downright stupid response. We are all flawed including Jackie.

That's nothing. Apparently Skip "Fruit Loop" Bayless said Brady was overrated today on his espn show. I've always thought Bayless was a closet case. I met him once and he was wearing a lavender sports jacket and had an extremely weak handshake. When you meet him in person he is much more effimenate than what comes across on TV. I think he hates Brady because he knows he can't have him.

They may hate him (right now). He drives them hard makes them work until they get it right.

Think of that teacher you had in school that was always the hardest one you had. You hated them while you were their student but once you were out of the their 5-10 years you grew to appreciate the person.

They say alot of Parcells' ex-Giants hated him too when they were playing for him but have grown to respect them and as can be seen alot of them follow him from team to team.

Kind of like hating the physical therapist who is torturing you in order to help you recover from a significant injury.

Here's what Tommy said of BB in yesterday's Herald.

Said Brady of Belichick: “There’s no coach I’d rather play for. I hope that never happens.”

http://patriots.bostonherald.com/patriots/view.bg?articleid=177771

The reality is I'll bet most players don't "like" their head coach. The head coach is not their friend. He yells at them and criticizes them. Ya think Parcells players loved him? What matters is whether they'll PLAY for him. And the Patriots do.

Moving the Chains, pretty much says the same stuff, Brady has nothing but respect for BB and all of his minions. I am not sure what comes first, but am glad to have them both.

Most of us at work do not like our boss, but like him or her less if they play favorites or play to the big guys. In the Halberstam book, there is a lot of discussion about Lawrence Taylor and how BP's favoritism for LT made the Giants difficult to coach. BB was shaped by a lot of these types of situations, Kosar included, his strength besides his knowledge of the game and how to exploit weaknesses is that is consistent and fair.

Yes we are. When I hear these things I think back to a quote from BB's dad:

"No, I'm not proud of him for this. Don't get me wrong. We're happy to be here. But if he was the coach in the Super Bowl and he was an ass, he'd still be an ass. He's not. I'm proud of Bill because he's a good, thoughtful person and a wonderful son."

Obviously a person's father is unlikely to think their son is a jerk, however, from everything I've read, I think Stephen Belichick was the kind of man who pulled no punches and if he thought his son was a jerk he would have said it. Do I think BB is perfect? No but who is? Do I think he's a man with alot of admirable qualities...yes I do. And one of those qualities is to not give a sh*t what people think of him and to do what he thinks is right. There's such strength in that.

Two points:

1. Teams that "like" their coaches almost never win it all.

2. This "story" sounds like a man-made creation conjured up to attract readers/ sell newspapers/ gain "hits", keep the guy employed one more day. LOL

3. Take with several grains of salt at bedtime, and sleep well.

// (I know, that's 3 points, not two. I got inspired.)

LOL.

Just laugh guys, dont take this moron seriously. I decided to stop watching anymore ESPN shows, they just get me irratated when they annoy me about the Patriots. **** them, all of them.

Ditto here...

"Players coaches" go nowhere.
I recently read two books about the old GB Packers, "Lombardi and me" and "Instant Replay." Instant Replay is Jerry Kramers' day by day account of Lombardi's final season, and he often talks about how painfully hard Lombardi pushed them. But in "Lombardi and Me," Kramer talks about visiting him in the hospital in 1970 briefly before he died. He said it was the hardest thing in his life, and he felt like he was losing his father. He said to Lombardi's wife "I wouldn't be half the man I am today without Vince."
Just to show that a coach can be harsh and still have his players love him...

Wait a minute how about Herm Edw...

never mind.
