While we are reaching, let's grab Akiem Hicks. That's a reach i would approve highly of.

With the 62nd pick in the NFL draft, the NEP select Micky Mouse, universal studios Florida.

The Ravens have selected an oil ship.

FWIW, Gillhamer is a very good former NFL secondary coach and he coached Wilson. He would be a good secondary coach in NE. Wilson has already had a year of NFL coaching at a position that requires it.

He may be a reach and a bust but he has size and speed and versatility (has played CB). We'll see.

I want to find some tape on him.

Trade!!..............With GreenBay

Listen, I think most people out here have nothing against tavon. we all hope he turns into ed reed. however, here is why i think most people are pissed

1. poor history of drafting DBs, and
Not true

2. couldve traded back, accumulated picks *even if we got less value than the trade chart so what* and picked him later.
If he is the guy you want, you take him. Its ridiculous to criticize a pick solely becuase you think they could have traded down and still gotten him, because you have no clue.
While it may not be the case here, there have been many times where we picked a player and these 'could have gotten him 2 rounds later' stuff came up, and ultimately word came out that another team was preparing to take the guy a pick or 2 later.
Its already been brought up that the Chargers had him in for a visit, and the Chargers have a big need at S.
If this is the best S on your board, and S is a need and the team picking next has a big need at S and brought him in, you don't trad down. Where Mel Kiper ranks him doesnt matter.

we all called it the pats just traded down

Pats traded down.

thank god we traded down....

The Eagles are going to go with an 10 man front this year. Ten d-linemen and Asomougha and DRC.

Trade to SF

We traded 62 to Green Bay...no details yet

The Eagles are really trying to turn into the Giants. Trent Cole, Jason Babin, Cullen Jenkins, Fletcher Cox, Vinny Curry. Damn.

Pff.. not as strong as our secondary. We got Patrick Chung, Sergio Brown, James Ihedigbo, Steven Gregory, Matthew Slater, and Tayvon Williams. LOL

Seems to me that the Falcons would have taken him, so your statement is off......

Mike Nolan's love affair with the "Big Nickel" formation, where a third safety is thrown into the mix. With this in mind, we'll take a look at another draft prospect who is on the Falcons visit list, Tavon Wilson.

Wilson spent four years at the University of Illinois, splitting his tenure between playing cornerback and safety. At 6'0", 205 lbs. he appears to have some decent power to him, something Nolan would be immediately drawn to.

He was known as a valuable leader for the Fighting Illini, and his college bio page says he was Illinois' honoree for the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award in 2010. These are two qualities we've come to expect out of prospects The Comrade brings in.

In 2011 Wilson was one of the better defenders on a defense that only allowed 19.6 points per game, ranking No. 15 in the nation.

Did I miss something and did Ian start requiring people to provide proof that their screen names are truthful representations of their true selves? Is it impossible now for a Jets troll to pretend to be a Pats fan to come here and stir up crap whenever something goes bad (or perceived to) for the Pats?

It is pretty well understood this guy is a Jets troll who comes here and starts crap in gameday threads and after losses.

If memory serves, the dead give away is, he only comes out when the Pats do something that can be complained about. Which isn't that often, so it's an easy red flag. Last year during game day threads if anyone dropped the ball he was right there to pounce.

BB: I got who i wanted on day 1 so imma let you have this one Mr Kraft
Kraft: Thanks Bill i kinda like the look of Tavon Wilson.
BB: ............................. if you ever fire me you're screwed!

Makes sense, Pats must have hated the draft board left to take Wilson where they did.
