Seems like just a few weeks ago many mockers were wondering if the Pats would reach for Barron at 27.

Yeah, this draft has been weird. A lot of guys who have dropped and raised at a far greater rate than I ever remembered.

NO LB's OR DL OFF THE BOARD, may be time to think about a move up. BB has shown to value the DL in this sort of spot, think Big Sey.....

It's interesting that the Rams are being applauded for trading into value positions where people complain on a yearly basis about BB utilizing this strategy. Strange world isn't it.

When it comes down to it though the rams still need to pick some good players. Remember when the broncos got all those draft picks for Jay Cutler and failed to pick a single impact player?

I think Tannehill is a freak occurrence though. Tannehill should never have been drafted in the top 20, nevermind the top 10.

Tannehill had 64 drops last season at TAMU. His stats may have been a little better last year if he had some decent receivers. Just guessing.

Will be the second best QB in our division (passes Tebow )

I do, it's more the mentality of putting yourself in the position to make those picks. Every year the Patriots do it, every year people complain, every year the Patriots are a contender to some degree. What GM's and HC's do with their picks thereafter is another discussion item (as you rightfully point out).

Not that I have an issue with trading down, but it's definitely a different situation. The Rams have picks of much higher value than the Pats and are getting some ridiculously good deals in return. They can pick up a bunch of second round picks while still being in a position to pick in the first round that NE would have to trade up into. Why would anyone complain about that?
