I guess my question to you would be that in light of the stats provided by patsinthesnow, then why is it "not even close" or they're "better by a mile? I mean technically, if team A has one receiver with 100 receptions, and team B has 4 receivers with 12,, would you would take the group with 4 in double digits?

1.) Fewer pass completions by Rodgers heading into today (146 v. 160)

2.) Rodgers is sharing the ball more than Brady (The Patriots headed into the bye with 4 players having double digit receptions. The Packers had 6, despite having fewer completions overall, and their 7th player got to that mark in today's game.)

The above factors, and any reasons for them, were not taken into account by those stats.

As for your question about the receivers, that's unanswerable without knowing the receivers better.

On my DVR. Too many 9PM shows on Sunday. Watch Dexter live. I will watch The Walking Dead after that because I can fast forward through the commercials. Probably watch Boardwalk Empire tomorrow night.

Yep. Same lineup as myself... will have to watch Dexter online tomorrow.

It's a shame there's so much crap football this year.

He's already probably getting a $10k fine for his personal foul today.

Chump change. Suspend him for a game or two and the message will get through..

Come on Colts at least make it look like you're not throwing the game.

They're pathetic. Do they play Miami this season? I need to check.

They've got Carolina, and they've got the Jags twice. Those are their 'best' chances for wins.

Anyone else feel a little sorry for Curtis Painter?

Not really. He's had a free ride for quite some time holding the clipboard for Manning so this lends a little balance to things. It also shows what a house-of-cards franchise Indy is.

I feel sorry for many of the Colts. Something about those forlorn faces gets me.

Though I have to say, I'm pretty excited we're playing them soon.

That's what I said last week after Garcon's obvious handing of the ball to the Bengals to allow them to seel the game. Not going to happen. The Colts can't even pretend to make the tanking look good. This is ridiculous !

Can New Orleans top the 59-0 Pats vs. Titans of 09?

Anyone else feel a little sorry for Curtis Painter?

not really, he's bending Colts management over and not even bothering to lube them up. i dunno what he makes, even if he was being paid $4.65 an hour to play the way he does he's giving it to them in the ******* good for him

Suh continuing to cement his reputation as a POS:

Did Suh taunt injured Matt Ryan? - CBSSports.com
My antipathy toward the Lions is increasing rapidly. In our pre-season game where they smoked us, the entire team and Schwartz, in particular, seemed smug about it which, in and of itself, seemed OK at the time. That, when combined with last week's thing with Harbaugh and Suh's sh!tshow today, finds me really starting to dislike them. Anyone else feeling that way?

Yeah, I'm sick of the Lions already and their head coach seems frankly insane. I would be happy if Suh was a Pats player but he hopefully wouldn't act like such a tool under our coaching staff.

This could turn out to be Goodell's undoing. What will happen if he lets teams deliberately tank the season for a better draft pick? If he's smart, he'll start announcing a different lottery ala the NBA for the worst 4 or 5 teams NOW rather than waiting until the end of the season. That way an 0-16 is no guarantee of the top pick....
