That MNF intro by the Angry Fire Elf was hilarious!!!

The Jet are truly pathetic. If Miami had the semblance of a QB they would being shutout 14-0 in the 1st Q, on their own turf.

Alas the Phish don't, and the Jets are leading 7-6...

But all this confirms is the Jets are unlikely to win as many as 7 games this year.

Revis...so far, 45 uncalled pass interference penalties...

Vontae Davis???...yeah, Sancrud throws the ball 20 yards over Sanphonyo's head after a brush...ball NEVER in play...Dolphins get the flag

unbelievable....Jetdell is not even trying to hide it anymore

LOL

"The AFC is really down this year. While the NFC has some good teams on the rise like San Fran and Detroit, the AFC is really flawed."

'New England might be too tough offensively to catch, but that defense has serious issues. Not to mention, the offensive line struggled a bit today. Every Patriots fan I know is really pessimistic with this team, and for good reason. Brady is still Brady, but the Patriots are beatable this year."

The good news about the AFC - TheGangGreen.com Message Board

I don't really see what was LOL worthy about that quoted post. It seemed pretty accurate to me, as of this week. The Patriots and Ravens are probably the two best teams in the AFC right now, and they both have major issues to deal with.

EVERY team has issues including the media darling Packers.

I agree. It seemed pretty clear that the Jets poster was intimating that without Brady this team would be another Colts' team where they would be able to Suck for Luck. That is certainly not the case. Right now, even if you take away Brady, I don't know if this team has more questions than the Jets do. The only things the Jets have looked good at this year is their pass defense and special teams.

The Packers are #1 in scoring offense and #7 in scoring defense, after being #10 on offense and #2 on defense last year on their way to a SB victory. Whatever their issues may be, the impact on the field appears to be minimal. The Patriots, on the other hand, are still trying to decide between man and zone coverage, still not healthy on defense, and could probably be looking at dead people for a possible upgrade at safety.

The good news is that the Patriots are still up to #14 in scoring defense. The bad news is that it could still be a case of coaching being able to cover up for talent problems during the regular season.

For every little Rat sneak that lurks this thread every day and runs back to that rat nest J.I., especially the thread starter, JetFan1 (Ray Ray 19) who went beserkalistic once again about OUR owner, Robert Kraft...this is an OPEN question to either put up or shut the blank up...

Please enlighten all of us about your gigantic explosion about Goodell cheating for the Pats because they were called for five penalties in the Dallas game...when YOUR Rats were called for ZERO penalties against the same Dallas team...when Goodell is a former EMPLOYEE of the NY Jets ,who got his start at the heels of Leon Hess, his surrogate grandfather....the same Goodell who was recommended for an entry level job at league headquarters by the same JET OWNER...the same Goodell who called Mangini into NFL offices the week before Spygate broke, the week of the Jets vs. the Pats, and instructed Mangini to complain about a camera used the year before at field level, even though Mangini had used TWO cameras at field level against the Patriots and claimed he had Pats permission which was a lie, and then Goodell fined the Patriots millions of dollars and a first round pick and did exactly NOTHING to Mangini and the Rats....start with this....and then we'll move onto how Revis can commit 70+ overt pass interference penalties in one game, yet every CB of every other team in the league gets flagged for even breathing on a WR...explain how Kraft pays Goodell to insure the Rat secondary gets ZERO penalties every game...

Every team every year has some sort of question to deal with. Under the current rules of the salary cap, it would be difficult to construct a perfect team without question. All of that aside, the question marks for the teams toward the top of the AFC become considerably less than the question marks for teams in the middle and toward the lower portion of the AFC.

It's interesting that the author drew attention to the many and varied problems the Jets have on both offense and defense. Other posters have jumped on board attacking other teams seemingly ignoring the Jets issues.

It's going to be interesting seeing how this season unfolds. The Chargers have a real opportunity to create a two game momentum swing for the Jets this weekend.

Seriously -- and I'm not just saying this because I'm a Patriots fan -- the Jets fan base truly is a creepy, lamentable bunch. This must be what happens through decades of losing, irrelevancy and abiding bitterness. They're simply nasty, spiteful, childish and generally ignorant of the finer points of professional football. From Woody Johnson on down, everything about that slimy puke-green franchise exudes desperation and negativity. It's a cesspool behind a garbage dump bordering ramshackle slums down the rat-infested alley from a crack-house strewn dilapidated porno district.

Honestly, it's hard to get past an obese, severely insecure, compulsively bloviating head coach who farms his petite wife out to strangers on Internet fetish sites slobbering over how he wants to see her "take it in all three holes." It doesn't get more disturbing than that. Unless, of course, you want to consider a wide receiver who publicly shoots himself in the leg with an illegally obtained firearm, or a quarterback who beds down 17-year-old high school students. Then there's the extreme narcissist halfback who declares himself "a classy guy," the pot-smoking flanker/team captain who throws his offensive line under the bus ... I could go on but I'm getting nauseous.

Sanchez, Cromartie and Burress go out to celebrate their BIG WIN over Miami:

The Jets three wins have come against

0-5 Miami
1-5 Jax
2-3 Dallas

For a combined 3-13 (.187) bag of crap.

Unfortunately this week's opponent SD have beaten

1-5 Minn
2-3 KC
0-5 Miami
1-4 Denver

For a combined 4-17 (.190) bag of crap.

Hopefully the bye week for SD coupled with the short week for the Jets allows the Chargers to inflict the maximum pain.

Interesting, although the Chaagiz can't be faulted for the fact that the schedule maker only featured one quality opponent in 5 games. Rivers handles blitzing well and the Chaagiz have enough targets that one Revis, even with jersey grabbing, can't hold all of them simultaneously. The Jets main threat to SD will be their excellent Special Teams who I predict will put up at least 7 points.
