What he did is an all-time great feat, and I think it joins the ranks of the 56-game hitting streak, Gretzky's 215-point season, and some others as "unbreakable." The fact that it's the single best indicator of a QB's effectiveness makes it even more impressive.

Of course, anything is possible, but I think this one stands for a looooooong time.

Yeah but since we lost in the playoffs no one really cares lol It's a great accomplishment though.

you should also mention roger federers consecutive semi-finals streak, consecutive grand slam final streaks made.. those are ******* amazing

I think it was appreciated plenty. He was just voted the only unanimous MVP ever.

Don't forget his "consecutive pass attempts without an INT" streak is still active and he'll be able to add on to it next season.

He threw one against the Jets though. Unless we counting it as consecutive regular season pass attempts without INT

In the words of Mike Singletaryl, "I want winners"

Post-season numbers are not included.

Bernie Kosar's record was over the course of 2 regular seasons.

Not to mention consecutive home wins streak. Regular season of course. Sigh.

Dude was the first unanimous MVP selection ever without breaking any major records. I'd say his season is being appropriately appreciated.

I care. So someone cares.
So let me help you out by rephrasing.

"Yeah but since we lost in the playoffs, spoiled fans don't really care, because they have to have everything their way or they will pout and forget about all great things that have come their way"

Is that more accurate?

His season as a whole, yeah. But that one stat is unbelievable.

NO its not being underappreciated. We didnt win a single playoff game. isnt that what matters?

It's even more amazing when you consider that of the four interceptions, one was on a "hail mary" pass at the end of regulation against the Ravens and another one bounced from Moss's hands into the hands of a Jets DB.

Not to Colts/Manning fans, and we've got a lot of people here who seem to be in the process of converting. Brady made it a point to note that he doesn't really care about the individual awards/accolades, so he must be a spoiled fan now.

Pats fans used to rag Colts fans for talking up regular season records.

However, the 9:1 ratio is very, very impressive. It's just a shame it wasn't part of the foundation of a fourth SB championship.

First, Brady being a true competitor will never be 100% satisfied with his preformance because there is always room to grow. Second, football being a team sport depends on more than even a perfect preformance from any one player. Third, being a FAN of any team has not only the ability to relize the shortcomeings of the team and wish to improve upon them but also the ability to recognize the strengths and accomplishments of the same team and voice your support and appreciation to the team and its individuals. Lacking this ability you no longer are a FAN and might be better suited to find a more suitable team to meet your expectations. There for if you have only the ability to be criticle of the accomplishments of the Patriots , why are you here? I suppose that if these negitive attack are the only way to garner attention that you seen to crave by attacking fans of the Pats so be it but you might find more support and appreciation in a different forum.

Take a Prozac. I was responding to someone who wrote:

"Yeah but since we lost in the playoffs, spoiled fans don't really care, because they have to have everything their way or they will pout and forget about all great things that have come their way"

after Brady had already made his position clear when accepting the MVP award.

If one of us needs to find more support and appreciation, it would appear to be you. I suggest you might be better off just sticking to official team press releases. That way you can avoid even the appearance of a discouraging word.

To refresh your memory you responded to:

Simply stateing that ignoreing indivedual accomplishments is not underappreciateing them if they don't accomplish their goals of wining the play off game:

To which you responded:

Useing a derogotory inference that if we have apreciation for the accomplishments and efforts of any individual member of the Pats regardless of how the season ended we are converting to a colts fan like attitude and reinforceing the previous posters statement that without winning in the play offs nothing else matters.

To which I responded:

This is where you lose me. You totaly change the wording of the quote you responded to and seem to be back tracking on your agreement that indevidual and team accomplishments don't matter with out the play off win.
Then feel inclined to be criticle of official team press releases and more comfortable with discouraging press releases.

The ability to follow the typed conversation and maintain a stable on tract thought process might be helped by the type of antidepresant medication that you seem to have some familiarity with.

I'm guessing these streaks--interceptions, and definitely the home winning streak--are actually almost embarrassing for the Pats. Home winning streak, except for the past two playoff games! Yuck.
