Take a Prozac. I was responding to someone who wrote:
"Yeah but since we lost in the playoffs, spoiled fans don't really care, because they have to have everything their way or they will pout and forget about all great things that have come their way"
after Brady had already made his position clear when accepting the MVP award.
If one of us needs to find more support and appreciation, it would appear to be you. I suggest you might be better off just sticking to official team press releases. That way you can avoid even the appearance of a discouraging word.
And I was responding ot a poster who said "no one cares", since we lost to the Jets.
TFB said that he didn't care about the MVP awards. That fine. But fans should care about his achievments, unless they have a what have you done for me today attitude.
But perhaps I'm a different type of fan than others. I could not even dare to dream about what this team and TFB has accomplished over the past 10 years. I always want them to win every game amd I always want them to win every championship. But if they don't, I'm not forgetting the great accomplishments and all the joy this team has given me during this great run.
I was bitterly disappoinited with the loss to the Jets. The Jets of all friggin teams. But I'm still not pouting about it weeks later and using that to deminish the accompliments of the team, even this years team.
And I absolutely think that there is a certain percentage of our fan base that are spoiled, and act like it. That's OK, too. But if there are such fans, why is it wrong to point it out?
