Bill has a family that has gone through a divorce in part because of the committment coaching at the NFL level demands. Kraft's kids are all grown and working in his various businesses. Charlie has a son in HS he had planned on attending ND and a severely disabled daughter. Relatively speaking he's been enjoying the good life in football terms for 4-5 years now. College coaches don't put in nearly the hours NFL coaches do because of the restrictions on their players, and they are treated like campus gods (until they start to pile up losses...).
Um, why does Belichick work? Why do the Krafts work? Why do all NFL head coaches work? Don't they have families too?
