Each year there seems to be interest in fantasy leagues, fantasy ratings, fantasy drafts and fantasy results. Perhaps there should be a separate board as there is for the draft.

:) So, I can expect to stop ready about the fanstasy ratings of Moss on the main board?

But the problem is... no one goes to the other board... So it is nice to have active conversations here, although I understand it's not the pure focus of this main board.

There is always the option of not opening the thread. Just a thought.

I added that before last year - so if you see any threads just move them there. And for anyone reading this - if you want to talk Fantasy Football that's cool - just do it in that other forum please

Why not have the moderators move fantasy threads to the fantasy board after they are started. If that is where the threads are, that is where people will go. Works with the political thread and early draft threads.

Yes, true. It is always possible not to have subforums and just put all the threads into one giant forum, but don't you think it is easier to have subforums so everyone doesn't have to look at each thread to see if they want it or not? You really can't tell by thread titles, which are often things like, "What do you think of this idea?" "How about this trade" "The plan this year" and stuff like that which could fit quite a range of stuff.

That's why there are mods though. To move them. Eventually a mod would have seen it and put it where it belongs.

Every now and then someone messes up and posts a thread in the wrong forum. Is that reason enough to start a thread complaining about "having to read" them?

Why not just pm a mod? If you are so anti-clutter, what's the point in adding to it?

Cool. Its got its own forum. Can't ask for much more than that.

Fantasy & Video Game Board

I would suggest perhaps threads about Madden and other video games should go there as well.

When we get to 200 separate boards, will we finally start to re-think this? There are already too many boards and the mods already move too many threads too quickly.

Of course, that's just my opinion.

Isn't it called the Ladies Lounge?

The Fantasy Football Forum isn't a new board, we've had it for a while now and a lot of people use it. I agree we don't need any further forums and I think we have all categories covered.

But I just moved it so you can now see it at the top of the forum, which will hopefully help people find it better. Does that work?

I'm sorry I know this is off topic but..... have you guys ever thought of getting an Iphone/blackberry app. for Pats fans that would be pretty sweet.

I'm working on a mobile version for the main content section of PatsFans.com after securing a deal for a photo license for editorial content recently - which is almost done. As for the forum, the board is currently installed with a version that works with "TapATalk" (an app in the App Store) that is $2.99. I'll eventually develop one for the board that will tie into the site content, but since vBulletin is quite complex it will require a TON of programming that I don't have enough free time to delve into just yet

+12,000,000,000,000......also the amount of the Federal Goverment's debt.....but,hell,our children will cover it!

Ian, this is slightly off topic, but it's close enough that I'll ask here anyway:

Is there any way we could get an option to place the sub forums on the bottom of the page rather than on top in our UserCP?

I don't see that option in the admin panel, but let me look into it.

UPDATE: Yes - it can be done but requires a template change. Should be easy - and I'll do it over the weekend.

Much obliged, kind sir. Please, at your leisure only.
