It's easy, and only takes a few moments.UPDATE : The Cowboys have released Ellis just now - Greg Ellis is a FREE MAN and can now join any team that wants him - Cincinnati is my guess as to where he will go but now NE would not have to give up anything to get him but some cap money so we will see if they are still not interested in him.

I'll be pretty shocked if he doesn't draw interest from BB. Expect Mangina & the Tuna to also kick the tires.
PFW in Progress seems to think that the Patriots should look his way if they don't have to trade for him (i.e. wait until he can be had for the vet minimum). I hope they jump at him and let him compete, but I guess Deus has a point, too.
Well NE is still a good team but also has a an option at Ellis's position for him to win if he wants to come here - No need to go to KC to start
New England can't really pay him as much, which is why I pointed to K.C. For just starting, I completely agree with the idea that K.C. is not his only option. He'd be able to compete for the starting job in New England, but he'd probably be a shoe-in for it if he went to K.C., and pretty close to one if he went to Denver.
How much was Vrable due? $4MM this year? Because obviously they would have to sign Ellis for significantly less than what Vrable would have gotten, as the perception will be they're "essentially the same player," so you better get Ellis at a much better value.
Sadly, someone will probably overpay and it will be All Pierre, All the Time.
Schein says Ellis will land either in New England,Cincinnati or Miami ... odds in that exact order.
Ellis is a better option that Jason Taylor and Derrick Burgess. Younger than Taylor, better size and has outside LB experience which makes him better than Burgess.
8 sacks last year.
He will come on the cheap.
Is there any reason why the Patriots shouldn't sign him?

Does he have inside info or was that just his best guess?
I would venture it was a guess and based on who needs an OLB the most, but Schein is pretty good sometimes at his 'guesses'
I do know this - Now that Ellis is out in FA with no strings attached he will not be unemployed longer than sunday IMO - If NE wants him they need to step it up and quick or some other team will sign him.
