I think I'm faster than Welker. Pats call a TO. Prostrate (sic) calls. From way down on the front row in 100 I ran up the stairs two at a time, crossed the concourse and ran along to the nearest mens room, found a urinal, whizzed out a large beer firehose style and raced back to made it back partway down the stairs to see the play.

Is there like a Patsfan award for this?

Yes, you win the PatsWickedFastPissah award.

You're like a "watered-down" Wes Welker

Last time I make a post about the weather...got a little more info than I was bargaining for!

Well you can thank me
It will NOT rain thruout the game or the Halftime Tribute.
I just dug out my rain gear, that was packed away with the motocycle gear.
All packed for tomorrow
Won't need it, cause I got it...
Murphy does indeed live here!!

I do love to drink, but I hate having to miss any action from having to take a leak. Maybe I'll wear a diaper.

Just wear depends... I have them on now... as a matter of fact I'm peeing as I type.

Welcome back Patjew

mariucci was saying on total access how favre has played all his lfe in this weather and cassel has never played a game in bad weather or rain

What Mariucci also failed to mention was how poorly Favre has played in unfavorable conditions the last few years. It's a reality of getting older; the body becomes more uncomfortable to cold , wind, wetness, etc. Did being out all day in the snow or getting wet in cold rain bother you when you were young? Does it bother you more, or less now?

I don't want to argue your point, because it is a good one.

I am a carpenter of 28 years, Hillsboro OR is a whole lot more mild then NE, still I know about working out side.

Once you start working and get warmed up, and if you are working hard, 45 degrees is not bad at all, all the soreness goes away after you get to work.

Well most of it, and the cool air always feels good when you are breathing hard.

Point is you learn to deal with the pain and discomfort, you ignore it, it becomes a non issue.

Endurance, strength, speed, etc,.that is another issue

Boy am I sorry I openned this thread first thing in the morning......WAY to much information.....prostate, diapers, depends.......

Looks like a wet one tomorrow nite. Some initial things that come to mind. Does this encourage the Jests to load up expecting a dose of "Law Firm" and further open up the passing game for the Pats? We've seen the Pats bringing Cassel along methodically since Week One, are they ready to entrust Air Cassel with throwing the ball in poor conditions? Will the weather reduce Favre's throws and/or make him even more susceptible to turnovers? Inquiring minds want to know...

ha ha ha, what a stupid nick name.

I hear that dude, I swear one time I ran the 40 in 3 seconds flat when the girlfriend needed an ICEE right before the dark knight started, and you know of course I had to be the one to get it.

anyway, back on topic, yea INT MACHINE FAVRE should be throwing some in the rain tonight.

Hope so but not that confident. If I am right, the rain makes it more hard for guys covering the WRs. And, in the absence of AT, I am not sure if our front can produce as much as pressure as they did in the previous game.

Stars are aligned for the Jets this eve.

But given this morning's fodder in NY Post on how our d is 'old' and 'slow', I hope we do demonstrate how great we are.

GO PATS!!

So i take it the Playing Fied should be covered for most of the day right? And then take to cover off around 5:00pm or so just in time for the rain.

It's raining cats and dogs here in Buffalo.

I once saw a Dallas-New England game in 45 degree weather, hard driving rain, in Foxboro back in, 1987 or 1988.

I came down with pneumonia. It sucked real bad.

The rain will hurt the Patriots more imo. Cassel has yet to throw in any conditions so to expect him not to make any mistakes is a reach. The Jests have a good run defense, so I don't expect Lawfirm or Morris to do much this game. Cassel needs to win this one.

Last nite's weather model runs keep the heaviest precip to the south during gametime with intermittent showers at Gillette...will have another update early afternoon.
