I hope this is not true. Let me say that up front. Based on Tomase's comments from an earlier post, it looks like this is probably male cow dung.
However, it's also no secret that I think Richard Seymour is one of the softer guys in professional sports, so this wouldn't surprise me. Big Sey loves those free paydays!
That said, if we do lose #93 for the season, all that means is Jarvis Green gets to be what he has worked so hard to be all his career - a bonafide NFL starter.
I still have visions of this kid tearing up the Colts in the '03 AFCC!
He has always been a team guy - accepting his role behind Seymour and just making sure he is ALWAYS ready to go when called upon.
If Seymour is done for 2007, Jarvis will prevail and he will confirm for us what we already knew - that he is the REAL DEAL and deserves to be a starter in the NFL!
Again, obviously, whether I like him personally or not (and I do not), I hope Seymour comes back because he is an awesome talent.
If only we could put the heart of a Tedy Bruschi or a Jarvis Green into Seymour - THEN we'd really have something in #93!
If not, have a great vacation on the Krafts' dime, Richard.
You've been there, done that.
