Who is giving him more $$?
That was Bill's negotiating stance on

So?
And no Rhamobdre isn’t lining up at WR any more than we used to put Marc edwards out there in an empty backfield lol.
Every pass Stevenson caught last year was on the exact same route Elliot has run his whole career
And Dalvin Cook is not a wr either outside of your imagination.
Watch a lot of Dallas games did you? If he could do what Tony Pollard does they wouldn’t have needed to take Zeke off the field on passing downs and put Pollard on.

I do and clearly you haven’t. Oh and Pollard caught a grand total of 4 passes on 3rd downs. Are you ever right about anything?

Pollard caught 39 passes at 9.5 yards per reception to Zeke’s 17 catches at 5.4 yards per reception… so yeah, I’m right now.

No you aren’t. You said they took Elliot off the field and put pollard in on passing downs. 4 catches on 3rd down in 17 games makes you wrong.

Being on the field doesn’t ensure the ball is coming to him.

Pollard has more than double the catches and averages almost double yards per catch… but you think you’re right… good grief.

Go listen to some GM Shuffle podcast, Lombardi lays it out pretty good.

THIS.

Let's see if Harris can be a nice BIG back up that can move the chains.

Let's see if Pierre Strong takes a year 2 leap.

Let's see if Montgomery doesn't get hurt and becomes our hybrid guy.

If none of the above...then I say gimme Kareem Hunt.

IMO, Cook would just be too much $$$ and has missed 24 games in his career (1,228 carries in 6 years)...although that home run ability is a nice thing to have....

Zeke has a lot of mileage (1,881 carries in 7 years)...but he would be a nice addition.

Fournette (1,132 carries in 6 years) had trouble blocking for Brady last year in the Dallas playoff game...not sure if he has any gas left in the tank.

Hunt? The guy basically was suspended....and in a time share for the last few years... (895 carries in 6 years) this guy absolutely killed us in those games vs. the Chiefs...yeah...maybe some illegal blocking....but he ran hard in Cleveland when he had chances.

Kareem says he wants to be #1 more than anything. He's probably waiting for an injury somewhere.

Well, they should get him insanely cheap, and add some needed depth at center.

Seriously though, he's looked washed to me for a couple of seasons. Maybe a spot in a short-yardage situation? Although I'd rather have Stevenson or one of the kids taking those snaps.

Somebody explain to me why I should be excited by this. When a running back’s YPC dip below 4 that is usually a sign that he is toast, unless the OL what is a total disaster for a single season.

Still seems effective down by the goal line. May be a way to reduce Mondre's short yardage collisions.

Still prefer Cook by a good margin.

This is the move that makes sense if we are adding a vet RB, assuming the cost is low.

You shouldn't. Cook's a better player. Unless Elliot's knees magically repair themselves, he won't challenge Stevenson for serious playing time.

And truly, I don't really want to limit Stevenson's short yardage situations, at least critical ones. It's one of the best parts of his game, and why they felt comfortable letting Harris walk.
