Watched Ross a couple of times and vs. top competition he did well against USC (Adoree' Jackson) and did poorly vs. Alabama. USC gave him too much room and eventually Jackson got burned for a couple of big plays. 'Bama just shut him down and Browing and the running game couldn't do much else.
Ross is every bit as fast on track as he is with pads on.

p.s. Jackson did have a pick or two in that game but you could tell he was afraid going one on one with Ross, especially early in the game.
