You wanted the team to spend $30M to get a couple of extra wins this year. I would use the $30M to win a couple of extra games next year. In addition to having the extra money next year instead of this, the team will also have better draft picks.
I understand that you don't like this strategy. I do. The team figures to be better in 2025, 2026 and 2027 by having $30M extra money and better draft picks available in 2025.
========
Let's be clear. The team played as hard as they were able in order to win with the players that Wolf provided, as they will next year when
we will have $30M extra to spend IN ADDITION to the $110M we already had to spend. And we will have a #1-#5 draft pick each round instead of the #6-#10. Yes, I understand that some of the money could be used in later years (perhaps $10M a year) and the better draft picks (especially the Round 1 pick) could be traded for more picks, perhaps in 2026.

In the end, decisions are made to better the team over time and make the team more likely to win a Super Bowl over time, and for the team to be worth more over time. Decisions are not made to make a big splash with a couple of extra wins in 2024.
