On Sirius radio yesterday they were saying that McGahee may likely not be resigned/traded in the offseason because the team is high on the rookie Ray Rice and he may be up for trade on the open market

If he could avoid those rib injuries he would be a beast among RBs in the NFL,I think when healthy he is a top 10 RB in the league

If there is a chance to get him at a reasonable price then I would dump that bum Maroney and sign this guy if he becomes available

probably not good bang for the buck for the pats........probably be more cost effective to hold onto lamont jordan........macgahee doesn't have the best attitude, either

Bad attitude with a career best YPA of 4.1.

No thanks.

No thanks. I'd like the Pats to put their extra coin on D.

haha, think again, this guy is the epitome of a selfish a**hole.

I can't think of a RB I'd want to have less. Dollar for dollar that is. He has the talent, but not the heart or durability.

I'm pretty happy with Lamont Jordan, Sammy Morris, Boston Legal and Kevin Faulk. If we can keep those 4 guys around who needs a guy like McGahee?

How about Maroney and Evans?

I actually like McGahee, but I don't see how there's really a spot for him on this team given the depth at RB we already have. This team's rushing attack was one of its primary strengths this year, and I'd expect that to continue going forward, especially if we get anything out of Maroney.

As others have said, our coin could be better spent elsewhere.

McGahee dances twice as much as Maroney.

McGahee averages 4.1 yards, and he does that in this fashion: 9 yard run, - 1 yards, 7 yard run, 1 yard run, 10 yard run, -3 yards.

No thanks.

The biggest knock on Maroney is his durability... but you want to replace him with another guy who has had injury problems?

The reason why the Ravens don't need/want him next year is because he was beat out by a FB who had under 100 carries before this year.
I think the Pats will Pass.

Pass....big time...not one who will fit money wise or attitude wise..

I wouldn't want Tomlinson, who has more talent but less heart. Maurice Clarett. Philip Lawrence. A couple more I wouldn't want. Travis Henry.

For what they would be paid (i.e. dollar-for-dollar) I can't think of anyone worse than McGahee. And for the record, you had to name guys who aren't even in the NFL, that's how bad it is with McGahee.

Actually, $-for-$, Edge might be worse, depending on what he ends up getting, but anything more than vet minimum is a rip-off for his services.
