I hope you're right. Saints blitz based on Brady so far in 2013 makes good sense. Things are different, however.

Blitzing Brady with Amendola, Gronkowski, Edelman, Dobson and Thompkins as his five receivers is suicide.

So you're saying that the possible return for an unknown number of plays of a guy who hasn't played in nearly a year will somehow turn last weeks debacle into an offensive orgy? Except for Gronk, we had all those same guys last week and they imploded against pressure with mediocre DBs and lots of single coverage.

It used to be suicide to blitz Brady. Not now, unless you consider having Brady stumbling backwards and throwing a football at the feet of his receivers suicide for the Saints. The 2013 Brady does not handle pressure well. Sad but true. This game won't be close.

Tough game but i think that the Patriots give their best performance top date and win at home. Brady is over 80% at home and i think he finds a way to get oit done this week.

Matt Ryan was pretty sick at home but that didn't prevent him from losing back to back games to the Pats and Jets.

Past stats are all well and good, but I'd be careful how much stock to actually put into them. Of the 80% victories, only 2 were with this current group of drop happy rookies.

As long as the Saints bring the offenses of Buffalo, NYJ, Tampa Bay or Cinci our D will be great. Unfortunately I assume they will bring their own O, so I'll go with Saints 38 - Pats 13.

To be fair, it took some late game heroics to pull this out. It could've easily gone the other way.

It was a toss-up game and the team that made enough plays at the end got the job done.
