NO, he didn't.

IDGAS WHAT YOU SAY, he TRIED to keep with him, but he let him through at the very end, END OF STORY!!

First it was 'he gave up on the play', now it's 'he TRIED to keep up with him'. You're contradicting yourself, Einstein. Which is it?

mgtech--bjge was a wise keep, dude ur not lookin toward to the future very well...he is our next solid backup and a kevin faulk replacer...morris, taylor, and faulk=ooold...smart move bill belichick...tuff all purpose back, great work ethic and knows our systems with zero complacency!!!

I personally don't judge people by how fast they are..Chad jackson is fast, do ya think he should be on this team?

Bah

BTW..
Mister Maroney has 12 total TDS in 388 carries
BJGE has 5 TDS in 74 Carries

Ben doesn't turn into a pumpkin when a defender comes around neither

I always love the idiots who try and compare a cut back runner like Maroney to a north/south runner like BJGE.

TDs per carry don't mean a friggin thing. All it means is that the Pats were close to the End Zone and they went to BJGE because they had no other healthy RB at the time. That's all it means. Stop acting like BJGE accomplished something he hasn't.

Like I said in a past thread, I had a feeling we would carry 5 RB's. Last year was proof we need to.

No matter which side of the debate you're on you don't need to trash either Maroney or BJGE, I'm glad to have both.

I wish we could kill the thread on this note.

I've been propping BJGE, and although I've picked on Maroney a little, I do not object to his being on the roster. Neither do I object to Taylor and Morris.

BB has chosen to go with 5 RB's.

End of story.

What does he have to accomplish to get on your good side? A 300 yard 4 TD game?

*ROFLMAO* BJGE isn't even close to being a replacement for Faulk. He's a horrible blocker, has problems picking up the blitz. He totally screwed the pooch on the 1st sack of Hoyer. The CB blitz is BJGE's pickup.

Its amazing all the friggin lies that you BJGE lovers make up in your pathetic attempts to justify his spot on the roster.

I don't think anyone would accuse me of being a BJGE lover, but he is a pretty good blocker. He prevented a couple sacks with timely blocks, too.

Here's a TRUTH that justifies his spot: Bill kept him on the 53.

End.

Well, I said I would come back and take my lumps if I was wrong and I am. I did figure that Dave Thomas would be taking the FB responsibilities and obviously that ain't happening. Now the FB responsibilities will fall to eithe Morris or BJGE most likely.

Interesting theory. Problem: try that one out on the people who consistently bash

Hmm.. Lets see. Actually be in the top 3 RBs without having 4 guys ahead of him injured.. Know how to pick up a blitz so his QB doesn't get killed from the blind side.. Actually show something against quality competition.. I mean, if he was so awesome, why did he not even get a touch in the last 4 games last year (3 of which he was inactive). I mean, the way all you guys are crowing about him, you'd think he was the next coming of Priest Holmes.... He's not even the next coming of Patrick Pass with what he's proved so far.

Hoyer BLEW that call. He did not diagnose an inside safety blitz..

If I remember correctly, BJGE blocked an ILB coming in the B gap, which is what he would do if no safety blitz was diagnosed because Giants went to a zone and it looks like Hoyer was priming for inside slant or curl.

Don't forget about Sanders, Galloway, Woods, Wheatley, and Wilhite.

yea, and he's also around ten years younger than faulk which means a lot less experience..yea i know what play ur talkin about but a rb is suppose to read inside out and thats a tuff pick for a newb..neways not acceptable but bjge is a mini faulk...goods hands and all purpose for cheap!

That isn't the truth. And,k just as a reminder to someone who clearly forgot about what happened last year. Chad Jackson made the 53 man roster originally as well. And was cut the next day as BB continued to tweak the roster.

Him being there today means NOTHING in the scheme of things and it sure as hell isn't justification for you idiots crowing the way you are.

Hoyer didn't blow the call. The blitz wasn't from the inside either. It was a CB blitz from Hoyer's backside. That's the pick-up of the RB. The LINE and Hoyer pick up the blitz from in front.

BJGE isn't even close to being the same type of runner that Faulk is. Faulk is a SCAT BACK. BJGE is a North/South power runner.

Hmm. When exactly did BJGE become the offensive version of Sir Adam Seward (I went ahead and knighted him for the hell of it, btw)?

He's been that ever since he put up 100 yards on the Bills last year. All these people who think that BJGE was so great last year, yet they want to ignore that he quickly took his place back on the bench as soon as Morris and Jordan were healthy. BJGE also didn't take a single snap with the 1st team offense this pre-season. Yet, we're all supposed to be impressed that, for the 1st 24 hours of the cut-down, he seems to be on the team. Yet, even the most sane people, like MG, are saying that the likelihood of BJGE seeing the field is next to none unless there are two injuries at RB

What exactly was BJGE doing in that play? I don't have DVR like you do, all I can do is try to remember from thursday night.

But judging by the way you're talking about him, he must have pulled an Alex Smith.
