@Ross12 just indicated that the deal isn't properly reported on otc, so, who knows at this point, what the damage would be
I got my info from Spotrac. Who knows? They could have the same wrong info.
A.J. Brown | NFL Contracts & Salaries | Spotrac.com
A.J. Brown signed a 3 year, $96,000,000 contract with the Philadelphia Eagles with an average annual salary of $32,000,000.www.spotrac.com
Here is what the Spotrac account said about the money if he was traded before the trade deadline.
everybodys taking a run... steven ross will go at him hard... lot of competition for his servicesHarbaugh
Nope. I don't pay attention player's personal crap if they're not on the Pats. Yes. it's common knowledge that he grew up a Pats fan and wanted Belichick to draft him. That has zero bearing on things currently.AJ Brown. Have you not seen the videos of him in his Edelman Pats jersey?? He grew up a Pat fan & wanted us to draft him. He also loves/played for Vrabel. Now, we have Maye…
This is common knowledge
No, it was the GM.Nope. I don't pay attention player's personal crap if they're not on the Pats. Yes. it's common knowledge that he grew up a Pats fan and wanted Belichick to draft him. That has zero bearing on things currently.
As for him being here? He'll be 29 in June. While he may love Vrabel, wasn't it Vrabel who shipped him out Tennessee??
Wouldn't having Brown impede the development of Williams and Boutte by putting them on the sidelines?
Vrabel did not have personnel control. Vrabel wanted to keep him. It was the GM and owner who moved him. That was kind of the start of the downfall of his (Vrabel's) time there.Nope. His contract is not really coded on Overthecap properly. It's really an option bonus, which can be traded to the new team. So the dead cap is not actually that bad at all. In reality, they will be incentivized to trade him because if they don't then they are on the hook to pay that option bonus themselves.
Yeah, they have to move him before the bonus is paid, basically. Very early in the league year.I presume the coding issue has to do with the date that OTC uses to determine the cap hits.
If he's traded before 3/20 then the hit goes to the new team. If after, it stays with the Eagles.
