Vrabel did not have personnel control. Vrabel wanted to keep him. It was the GM and owner who moved him. That was kind of the start of the downfall of his (Vrabel's) time there.

His contract is not really coded on Overthecap properly. It's really an option bonus, which can be traded to the new team. So the dead cap is not actually that bad at all. In reality, they will be incentivized to trade him because if they don't then they are on the hook to pay that option bonus themselves.

I presume the coding issue has to do with the date that OTC uses to determine the cap hits.

If he's traded before 3/20 then the hit goes to the new team. If after, it stays with the Eagles.
