Word got out that BB is signing players only to cut them later to send a message, so free agents don't want to sign here anymore. It is what it is.

BB doesn't sign players to be future cuts - there's not enough pain in that. He trades draft picks in his devious plot just to show how serious he is about sending a message. I think he's waiting until just before opening day so he can trade one of the 2012 #1s for the rights to Ryan Leaf or some other legendary head case in order to keep the team in line and really teach them a lesson.
