Why does Brady struggle in Miami during this time of year?

I'm guessing it has to do something with the temperature and humidity

Any thoughts?

FWIW, he had all four of his picks in that brutal 2004 game where they blew an 11-point lead with 3:59 to go. <shudder>

OTOH, the season ended up okay, though.

I was going to say take away that 2004 game and his numbers are not that terrible at all. Glad to see he took the pass sitting on his butt out of the playbook.

Some guy named Wesley Welker killed the Pats that night. Wish we could get a guy like that...

Feels like vacation/offseason.

It could be the weather- if you're not used to the oppressive humidity &"muggy" heat of FL, it can be very draining. Although I do recall the Patriots beating Fins' 49-28, in Oct of 07'...temperature was in the 90's here.

They struggle at Miami most years - they got waxed the opening week in 2014. Last year they were running a decrepit Jackson with no OL, with Gronk seeing limited targets and Amendola on one leg and Lafell with no hands as their receivers. Not exactly a recipe for success.

Miami always had nasty defenses way back w surtain, Madison, Taylor, Thomas etc...

...

It's possible that I'm misremembering (Roger Clemens, anyone) but I recall his pass while sitting down being against the Browns at home that same year (which was a completion and first down on a third and 6 play).

Even with our injury problems I think we all felt REALLy good about our chances in that final game last year. After all, I think we all assumed the Dolphins would already be in 'vacation mode'. I bet they would have been if we showed any sign of life, ourselves, but alas the worst gameplan in the BB era did us in.

Wouldn't the temp and humidity be much more in the months that don't occur during the winter? You'd think that playing in Dec/Jan would benefit the visitors, at least in comparison to say, Sept/Oct.

Edit: grammatical error

Well maybe we were all wearing beer goggles.

I think the Pats are 6-8 since 2001 in Miami. Maybe 2 of those games were I dont care what happens games. I don't count last year as one of those games. But they were running on empty last season.
