Beyond the x's and 0's, who has the psychological edge this game? The Patriots looked crisp this week while the Broncos did not. However, the Broncos are at home where the Patriots have struggled before.

Did the Patriots playing a good defensive team help them to prepare for the Broncos? What about the Broncos playing a dynamic Steelers team and holding them to 16, despite giving up large chunks of yards?

Psychological edge also represents who will come out in this game fired up. In my mind, Brady and the Patriots have little pressure after they won the Super Bowl last year and have found a way to be better than the injuries this year should have left them. The Broncos, on the other hand, are always classified as Super Bowl contenders, yet they looked like garbage for large stretches today. The dropped passes indicate a team nervous and not ready for the grand stage.

The injuries for the Pats on defense could be there undoing, but I suspect everyone will be in there.

Neither team has the psych edge ...... Patriots have the talent and skill to win.

Also lost in this - pats have an extra day to rest

Most games have a team with a psychological advantage. This one feels pretty even in that regard? Just asking to see why you feels this way.

Well all I can say is our psych. edge consists of Brady:

1. Wanting to win the most sb's of any quarterback in NFL history.

2. Wanting to go home to play in front of family and friends in the Bay area.

3. Wanting to be apart of Superbowl 50

4. Wanting to beat Peyton Manning.

This is why Belichick is going to put the game in Brady's hands. He's going to spread it out and tell Brady it's your game to win it or lose it. That's the thing about BB, he's mastered the psychological aspect of coaching. He knows what motivates players and he knows he has a goldmine in Brady's motivations right now.

Advantage: Pats!

Pats: We have Brady!
Donkeys: ****, we have HGH

Patting yourself in the back? Lol

Someone had incorrectly claimed that something was "lost in all this".

It wasn't. It had been discussed and debated.

The 2 best teams in the AFC ... I just don't see an advantage in the psych category.

Watched the NFL network and Dieon Sanders and Michael Irvin both said they should play Brock O. Marshall Falk brought up that CBS will never let Kubiac get away with pulling Manning because of the ratings, that they would ruin Kubiac and that putting Manning in was all about $ business.

I think this hits the nail on the head, 2 of the 3 saying pull Manning and the third saying why they can't and it had nothing to do with the play on the field.

Tell me this is not pressure.

Kubiak is definitely stuck between a Brock and a HGH place.
