It would have to be a team outside the top eight because the Pats don't want to get caught up in all that guaranteed money to an upproven rookie. Mayo is an exception!
Most likely trading partner is Washington which is desperate for additional picks.
All teams are talking about what it will take to move up or down the draft board during these days leading up to the draft. Most of that work is done well before a team gets "on the clock".
Washington is desperate for additional picks so they can trade up for Sanchez.. At least that is the rumor anyways..
I'd give the skins a third in exchange for next year's second. I would be willing to commit to this before the draft, so the Redskins use this pick to get Sanchez. Keeps him away from Denver, too.
I think its safe to say both KC and SD. Additional teams are likely to include Jax, SF, GB, Cleveland, and others. All but SD are in the top 10, and the sweet spot in the draft(again) is between 20-40. I can see us using day 2 picks to hop around, and even possibly trading down. The only trading up I can see is if BB values Ayers.
Denver has more ammunition to trade up to get Sanchez than Washington would since Denver has 2 1st round picks this year and next year as well as an extra 3rd this year.
I could see Denver shipping both picks to Seattle for the #4.

Why the hell would Denver draft Sanchez? I'm not a huge Orton believer, but McDaniels made Orton a deal-breaker in that trade, so its clear that McDaniels is.

If this is true, then 23 + 58 may get us to the 8-10 range, while keeping 34 and 47. Aaron Curry, BJ Raji or an OT might be worthwhile picks in that range.
What if he has a deal in place with the Chiefs and takes Curry.
It will never happen but you really never know; do you?
