The open one.Which Saints receiver worries you the most?
Brees doesn't have a favorite and doesn't rely on or fall back to any one receiver. If he feels that the defense is going to leave Darnell Dinkins open on a 4th and 1, then the ball is going to Darnell Dinkins. He expects all of his targets to catch the ball when the time comes and that's the message he sends them in the offseason and in practice.
Well, firsts of all the Saints Defense never assigns any one CB to a receiver. If Moss walks over to Greer's side of the field, then that's who will be covering Moss. If Welker walks over to that side, then guess what?Yall should probably worry most about Meachem right now...just saying.
As for as who most Saints fans are worried about- Welker. We feel pretty good about Greer on Moss.
It concerns me that right now we're going to be falling back on Chris McAllister and Mike McKenzie a few days removed from being on the street, a rookie CB starting his second game and a gimpy Jabari Greer to defend against Tom Brady throwing to Welker and Moss. Hopefully they can lock up the receivers long enough for the pass rush to get to Brady and the defense will force the Pats off the field on 3rd Down.
Meachem is the team's 4th best receiver after Colston, Henderson and Moore. I'll give you Faulk over Bush, too. I hold my breath every time I see Reggie Bush get the ball, but it's not because I am expecting him to rip off a highlight-reel run. It's because I'm waiting for him to put the ball on the carpet. Faulk is a veteran guy who will get you that hard two yards for a first down, pick up the blitz every time, etc. that every QB needs and that Reggie Bush should have become over a year ago. I'm just happy to see Payton move on with Thomas and Bell for the running game.Well the Saints fans think we should worry about:
"Colston, Moore, Meachem, Bush, P. Thomas, D. Thomas, Shockey, Bell, Henderson > Moss and Welker"
Hate to break it to you but..
Moss>Colston
Welker>Meachem
Edelman<Henderson
Stanback<Moore
Watson=Shockey
Baker>D. Thomas
Faulk>R. Bush
Morris<P. Thomas
Maroney=Bell
I love how they think they have 9 superweapons and we only have 2. As you can see above, its 4-3-2 Pats for offensive talent. The only argue you could give is Bush over Faulk, but I would choose Faulk.
