What’s our plan at Wide Receiver?

This is kind of a different FO though: they're some nice X-WR in this Draft that can be added ie...Dont'e Thornton - Jaylin Noel - Jayden Higgins and Arian Smith.

Maybe after a few more weeks of drafting wr rehab ill be ready for that pf2, just not quite yet!

Don't be surprised if either Tyler Lockett or Keenan Allen come in as well over the next couple of days.

The Diggs signing really fits into a picture that's been forming for a few weeks:

Garrett saying the Browns QB plan is someone they can get easily and that he's sold on.
Giants flirting with Rodgers, signing Winston, settling on Wilson.
And now this move from the Pats raising the floor on the WR room from critical to "not ideal but eh, can live another year."

And the picture that forms here is:

1. Ward.
2. Sanders.
3. Hunter.
4. Carter.

For the Pats it means trading up for a LT. Knowing that drafting a WR high is possibly pushed back another year, they moved aggressively with Diggs.

It definitely feels like they're prepared for Hunter or Carter to be there, but also for neither to be there. I think they know they have to draft an LT high, but how high will probably remain a question until the day of the draft.

Expect nothing. Prepare for everything.

Diggs
Boutte
Hollins
Douglas
Polk
Baker
=======
Sure, take a flyer on camp competition in free agency and late in the draft. But we have the 4 WR who would be active in every game, and a couple of players to train up. Let's see what we have.

Yes, if we really like someone in the draft, he can be brought in with the idea of him replacing Baker or Polk or even Douglas.
