A win this weekend would mean that JetsInsipid and TheGangGreen would go up in flames. A loss would mean the Patriots go up in flames. And, either way around, a win means control of the division more than half way through the season.

Obviously a win means we're 6-3 and the Jets are 5-4 and another division/conference win goes a long way to helping secure a playoff spot.

6-3 and at least a share of the division lead, as well as the head-to-head advantage with the Jets should such a tiebreaker become necessary at the end of the season.

It would mean that we are 6-3 with 7 games to go. It would mean that the Jets are 5-4 with 7 games to go.

Other than that it would only mean that the Patriots would hold the tie breaker for the division against the Jets with 7 games to go. So that won't mean much on Monday with 7 games to go, because it only means something with zero games to go..

Momentum and impetus in the positive ledger going forward. 6-3 record, good for at least a first place division tie, tie breaker advantage with the Jets concerning possible playoff implications. A win would break the team from the doldrums currently being experienced. Might be the turning point of this season in any regard.
