I just seen Gilmore is questionable..?

Mike Francesca picks the Patriots by a TD over the Steelers in his final football pick of his WFAN career.

Not that shocking, just funny that one of the biggest Pats haters around ends his run with that.

I don't like the idea of Lee, Richards, and Roberts playing againdt this offense. It's going to be Ugly...

Better hope Jacksonville loses a game to either Houston, Titans, or 49ers...
While concern for the game is understandable (I have some myself if Im being honest), you really feel as though “it’s going to be ugly?” I think that’s a bit of an overreaction, to say the least.

Lee, even during what many deemed as a poor game, still led the team with 4 QB pressures and 100 percent of the reps. Roberts is okay, unless we’re expecting him to try and cover a RB in isolation, which is something that few LBs can do with any success. Richards, while somewhat unspectacular, also has a bit role that he plays—and I don’t believe that he even saw that many snaps on Monday, so his presence really shouldn’t make that much of a difference.

Also, we’re hoping to get Van Noy and Flowers back, so that would help quite a bit.

Guess you must have turned it off for the last 30 minutes of the game when the lolphins couldn't move the ball.

Lol, actually I did. Had to be up at 0315 for work. Well, glad they got it together then.

According to the Pittsburgh beat guy that Phil Perry had on Quick Slants Haden will not play and Schuster is really a game time decision and not Tomlin blowing smoke.

Haden in 2017 is not going to make that much of a difference regardless. Haden in 2013 would have, but not this version of him. The Steelers would still have to cover Dola, Gronk, Hogan (assuming he continues to improve), White, and Lewis.

the Ravens put up nearly 40 points on them. WR's were open all over the field and their RB put up crazy numbers. I dont think the pats will have a problem moving the ball on the steelers. Brady says their defense is very similar to what they always do. and considering bradys history vs. the steelers that should be promising news. especially since he practiced in full all week.

the game is going to be won on which team can better limit the other team. If flowers/van noy are back I put my faith more on the patriots to limit the steelers more.

question for me is, do you put butler or gilmore on brown? Gilmore has been better lately, but butler has a pretty good history against the steelers.

Reiss expects Flowers back but not Van Noy. Even with Van Noy, we don't have a LB who can stay with Bell. Won't be one guy, but I expect lotsa Chung. I believe the Patriots are much better equipped to limit Ben than the Steelers are to limit Brady.

We will score on them. I expect our offense to look better. Defense needs to play well including stopping the run.

Roberts cannot be as bad as he’s been if we want to slow them down. Really hoping our LB crew can step up.

We have to focus on Bell imo. AB will get his yards, but if bell starts getting chunk plays that will be trouble.

On plane from Texas to a Pittsburgh. Going to pregame party tonight at Rivertowne North Shore. Steelers fans on plane.

You can't do that against a two-"gaping" defense.

My only disagreement with your theorem is Roberts crashing gaps. He doesn't seem to be a two-gap LB on many plays. One player doesn't play the two gap right consistently and Bell's patience could indeed gash the Pats.

Oh well, first to 38 wins
