Week One NFL Game Thread

Manning looked good throwing the short passes so far. But he was still 4 for 9 on his opening drive. Granted one was a bootleg which he didn't do very well on his hey day.

The Ravens aren't following the Patriots/Rams plan of neutralizing Manning though. Make him throw outside the numbers. You let him throw short passes inside the numbers and he is still good enough to make plays.

I think the Ravens could be an overrated team this year. I think they may have lost too much on offense. I think the loss of Kubiak and Torrey Smith (not a huge fan of his play, but he plays a good foil for Jump Ball Joe) could be too much to overcome.

He looks like September Manning with Direct TV in the short passes.

He has no accuracy in the deep throws because he's over compensating for his noodle arm

Denver game has the feel of one that could get out of hand fast. Roasting hot, Ravens left tackle out, altitude. Ravens D is going to be gassed early and Peyton will pile up the stats.
