I see why you do it. Had Buffalo scored on third down, Seattle would've had 45 seconds to work with. The clock kept running anyway due to a sack.

Well thats good for us ultimately Buffalo falls further away and is basically now eliminated from the AFC east and Seattle will be on short rest and not quite as desperate to win this coming Sunday night.
