Full time officials is a needless thing. Anyone who takes even a second to think about it should be able to figure that one out.

Yep. Zero need for full time officials. What would solve a lot of these issues is scaling the rules back to before a lot of these rules changes came into play.

The NYJFL might not need full-time zebras, but Walt Anderson's crew should be suspended,
pending an official inquiry. Otherwise, what message is Park Avenue sending about their true
feelings regarding legitimate player safety?

This.

I said it when the replacement officials were in place that there was no difference in the officiating- people were just focused on the mistakes more but the mistakes, the simple and horrendous ones were the exact same. You can call defensive holding on every call - they refs decide when to do it. PI can be called on every play - they refs decide when to do it.

The person to blame for all of this is is Bill Polian. He is the man that ruined the game because he could not accept that his team was beaten fair and square.

Last night, the worst call was not the lack of a personal foul but the delay of game that occurred after that. The refs a bunch of bumbling idiots.

It's not just PI, defensive holding, illegal contact, etc. that are the problem. It's the changes as a whole. For example, a football hitting the ground at all in the act of a catch used to be incomplete. I don't see any reason why that rule needed to be tinkered with.

Because Blandino and the whole NFL FO are incompetent fools who played PeeWee football and think they are Gods.

...just another year
...another new way to lose
...another comedic night of buffalo football on tv

the real problem with that game was the same problem as bills-jets and pats (varsity) - bills at the um, cornerback position. you can either cover one on one or you can't. the ryan defense doesn't understand how to function without top 5 cornerbacks... on the other hand... Schwartz was able to hide his bum corners with a different scheme.

buffalo was designed around old school low scoring football games where the qb needed under 200yds, no pics and ball control.... doesn't work when your defense sucks so they should fire the offensive coordinator again.
But the Bills' uni's were totally cool.

And, you got screwed by the refs.
