Week 9 was a horror show for most of us. Very few of us were on the plus side of betting last week. Froob continues to lead the pack and pushed above $100k. Everlong had the best week with an impressive +20k in a week almost everone lost money!

The current rankings are below. It is really important to read the next post in this thread as the Casino will be giving some money away for half-season prop bets! And there will also be an update on the playoff betting this year.

Now we are at the midseason point, it is time to go over the rules for the playoffs:

* Betting for everyone will run through the last week of the regular season assuming you still have money in your bank roll.
* After the final week of the regular season, anyone with a bank roll at or over $50,000 will qualify for playoff betting. However, if there are fewer than 10 people above 50k, the Top 10 in the rankings will qualify for the playoffs.
* Each playoff week will have game lines as well as prop bets. Teasers will also be allowed.
* If at any time during the playoffs your bank roll falls below 50k, you will be eliminated.
* Each person must bet at least 10% of his bank roll throughout the playoffs.
* Playoff bettors will keep 10% of their pay roll for next season's pre-season prop bets.

So why keep playing if you are under 50k?

* Everyone who does not qualify for the playoffs will still earn $5k toward next season's pre-season prop bets. It will give you a head start on any new players who join next year.
* You still can get above 50k or into the top 10 by betting the 2nd half of this season!
* The mid season prop bets I am introducing below will provide everyone with a chance to get above $50k!

MID SEASON PROP BETS:

* All of you are getting $20,000 right now to make bets on the prop bets posted below.
* This 20k is use it or lose it. You can NOT just add it to your bank roll.
* All bets must be made in THIS thread before Sunday at 1:00 PM. Please do not use the betting thread for these prop picks.
* Prop bets on division winners and passing leader will be calculated prior to the playoffs and can help you get to the magical 50k mark! THe other prop bets (Super Bowl winner, AFC winner, NFC winner, MVP) will be added to your bank roll during the playoffs when appropriate.
* If you did not make our playoff betting but win a prop bet that runs past the playoffs, that winning will be added to your bank roll. It would increase your carry over bank roll into next year.

If any questions, please ask. In short, you can make your $20k bets on the props below by Sunday in this thread. You can not add it to your bank roll; it will not affect your current bank roll. Bet away!

Thanks man! The funny thing is I complained about the spreads at the start of the week and avoided them instead betting O/U and teasers. My only loss I ignored my own advice and bet the Bengals -2.5 and they got crushed.

That's a great question. If you were going to bet on Lamar for MVP, I would wait until after the game in case he gets hurt or throws 8 picks.

The division odds are assuming a win against Miami. If they lose, the odds on the rest of the division have great value all of a sudden!

But no, I will not be changing any odds.

Out of curiosity what are the odds for OPY, DPY, ROY?

I didn't see any for OPY and DPY. For ROY, Chase was a runaway favorite. Mac was the only one close, and even then, it wasn't really close.

Honestly I hate all these bets but it's 20K of free coin so what the hell. I feel like the NFL is so wide open this year.
